1st is there any web sites that give you any step by step AOS instructions like the 1's for the K-1 visa applications?
If not,  what I need to know is if the 'non-immigrant visa #' is the red # stamped on her visa. What her 'current INS status' is now that we are married and submitting her application. Where do I find the "A" number? And on the EAD application it asks for your 'eligibility catergory' and to look it up on page 2 (we have no page 2).
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanx, Stan

Stan,

The one I found the best for the actual application prep was Jonathan's site (formerly the Den of Immigration), which is now at...

http://alixtcat.50megs.com/immindx.htm

As far as the nonimmigrant visa number (A #), it should be stamped on her passport.  Some people have it on the I-129F approval notice as well.

Her status is "pending adjustment".  Her EAD eligibility category is (c)(9).

Hope this helps.
