SUBJECT: ARCHIVES
Coaster,
We were all newbies once.
I know what it is to want to know more about this. You've read the catalog sites. You've seen the gorgeous photos. You've heard the rumours. And you're thinking: "Can it be true???"
I, for one, can be downright obsessive in trying to learn more about a subject when I first get interested and involved.
If you are like I was -- insatiable for information -- you have the best thing in the world at your fingertips -- the archives.
In it you will find many of the stories of them men who have made the journey, and you can follow the stories as they unfold. Some of it is very riveting reading.
You will find out about those men who "Caught lightning in a bottle" and found their love right away. You will find those -- like Jack -- who searched for years, and who have reduced the whole process to a series of steps that makes it almost like a science.
You will even find the stories from guys like me who went over... met someone... but who ultimately didn't make the decision to marry.
Patrick does a pretty good job of clensing the archives from the troll wars. So, all that is left is -- bascially -- pertinent stuff.
The guys on the board don't want to seem unhelpful... it's just that after we have spent months and months debating, raging, expressing, and discussing everything from sex in the FSU to the "age factor" it's hard for us to get geared up again to go through the discussion "one more time".
Listen... we ALL have questions. Even those of us who have been over there.
We all try to help each other on here.
But if you want acceptance... if you want to be able to contribute as well as partake -- READ THE ARCHIVES.
You will be amazed at how many of your questions are answered there...
And THEN you can start asking the REALLY interesting ones...
