Sorry if I sound like a chick but couldn't be more wrong. I say we decide the wager first then you're free to call me any time if you're ready to answer a lot of questions.

I seemed to have walked into a little click here and I didn't mean to come off like the stupid freshman. I'm just looking for answers.

I noticed a post in which an agency name was apparently deleted or not permitted. So the big question for me is... how am I supposed to know who's legit? You guys have me feeling a little stupid for overpaying to send a letter so I apparently found the wrong agency.

Can anyone recomend a good place to start? Maybee send me some names to my e-mail?

Actually, the board is composed of a variety of personalities.  Some are very helpful, others tend to get annoyed giving the same advice over and over every time a new person arrives.  They therefore suggest reading the archieves first (which is really excellent advice although time consuming on your end).  But, at the same time you will be able to identify who to listen too and who not!  If you have questions, heck, go ahead and post 'em.  There are always those that are willing to help and will give you some answers.  As for agencies, that's a wide open question as there are many views depending on the experiences of those who have been there and done that.  My advice is that an agency is a good place to start when getting into this as it is convienant.  Shop around, compare prices, search the archives, AND ask the question on the board being somewhat creative with the agency name.  You'll get the answers you search for but remember, a lot of this is about experience, however this board will help you avoid most of the common pitfalls (like believing everything the agencies advertise).  But be somewhat specific in your questions.  Such as: if you want to know about agencies, first try and figure where you want to go.  I'd suggest on your first adventure to try one of the bigger cities like Kiev, Moscow, and St Pete.  I prefer Kiev, but that's a personal choice.  Also Ukrainian three year business visas are somewhat easy and cheap to get saving you from having to get multiple visas for every trip.  E-mail Jack, he is very willing to help.  Think long term.  Visit this board daily and within a few weeks, you'll be amazed at the knowledge you will have gained.

Welcome to Planet-Love Coaster. You will see, after visiting the other Russian discussion boards, that this is the finest Russian discussion board in the world.

There is a wealth of information to be learned from this board and these guys and as you have already been advised, as a new guy just starting out in this wonderful pursuit it would probably be best for you to read the archives for a few weeks. Besides the actual travel over there, this is probably the best place to learn.

As I understand it you have already sent this young lady a letter and flowers, pretty sharp move for a new in-experienced guy, I commend you. This company you used says if you do not get a reply, then there is no charge. I don't know if this means you get your money back or if you have to select another woman, and what if there is not another woman on this site who interest you?

At $39 to translate a letter and hand deliver and get the ladies reply back, this is way to much money. There is a very good agency in this same city of Chernvostsy that will do the same for $20. They will translate your letter and deliver it with your photo for $15!! And charge $5 to receive the ladies reply, translate to English and send back to you.  I hope you will never pay $39 to have this done again.

Coaster there is a wonderful marriage agency in Chernvosty called Natalia's Professional Introductions. They have many beautiful women on there site. The manager of the agency of course lives in Chernvosty and knows all the ladies. The owners are two married couples who live in the USA, in Georgia. These two men found there wonderful wifes in Chernovsty and they have built this wonderful marriage agency in Chernvosty. This agency has taken wonderful care of the clients I have sent there. I know this agency to be honest, ethical and caring and as such it is one of about a dozen honest agencies I have found in Ukraine and Russia to gain my personal recommendation. They, like myself, are not scam proof and I do not know of any marriage agency that is scam proof. I have found one known scammer on there site and have advised David (part owner) of this lady and she is being removed from the site.

Coaster, because Chernovsty is not such a large city and there are only a few marriage agencies located there, many of the ladies appear on the other sites. I would like to offer you the following, I would like to deliver for you, free of charge, another letter from you, translated into Russian and hand delivered, with flowers, to this same lady and another lady. If you would prefer to write two new ladies, no problem, I will hand deliver two letters from you, translated and with your photos and flowers, for free. stumble onto a great forum.  There are guys here with an incredible amount of experience and knowledge and most got a couple scars in the process.  It takes some time.  Myself?  I got a long way to go.  But,  hang out and read and learn and theres no real big clique here.  Most of the guys on here are great.  Sometimes the board gets more than its share of trolls ( people who disrupt the flow of info)and clutter-up the board with junk. Theres no easy answers---keep readin'  and thinkin'.  There is alot to learn.  best of luck.
