My fiancee finished her interview in Warsaw last week. One thing that was a little suprise was that the consulate required a photo of her that we had to walk across the street from the side entrance and go downstairs to purchase. This photo was used on the american visa. As far as timeline:
8 am - waiting inline
8:45 am - made to window 10 and lady said photo needed
9:30 am - photo finished and window 10 lady said to wait
10:30 am - called name and window 10 lady went down a checklist of
items needed. They asked for the affadavit of support from me. After she collected finacees passport and medical records she told us to wait for name to be called for interview
11:45 am - called name and went to window 4 (I think) and interview lasted 10 minutes. Lady said to return at 4 pm to pick up the approved visa.
4pm - wait for name to be called. Went to a room downstairs.
4:45 pm - name called and simply pick up visa and sealed package to give to immigrations upon arroval to port of entry into USA.
Hope this helps somebody...Rick
PS - one interview question that was asked was "What city and state was I born in". My finacee knew the state but not the city. Consulate lady later said "That is OK, it isn't important".
