Post 1. why I don't post very much here....

Hello everyone.  I have been lurking a bit lately, and just decided it is now MY time to add MY thoughts here.  I have posted a few times in the past, but really didn't care for the layout of the board, so i stayed on another.

First let me say, that I am a positive guy.  I just prefer to live life this way.  Works better for me, and I wish some of the people posting crazy things would try it...    Also, what I post is truely my opinion.  I understand this, and I hope others do also. I do not have anything if not my humble opinions...  I am just your average guy here, but I do know that I am intelligent, and have some experience to share (see future posts and you will understand my experience level).

Second, I am by no means a (what you call) a troll.  I have posted some in the past and check the archives if you want valid info to prove it.  Seems from what I have seen lately, you have to prove you are a real person first, before people will not knock ANYTHING you post.  As a second "proof" I have personnally met "jack" at his BBQ this past spring/summer, and some other people.  So some of the "regulars" here KNOW I am for real.

Third, guys this IS a message board to share thoughts, questions, and hopefully some good answers about this whole RW/UW topic.  I am amazed at how sometimes the topics get way out there.  Ashame too, because without realizing it, a lot of posters are scared off, and I think many others don't even want to post.  Yet another reason I tend to stay away from posting here myself.

Fourth, I am not going to say anything too new about posting here, but guys, if you would just simply ignore these trolls, they would have nothing to argue about.  I think I learnd that in 3rd grade? Maybe I am crazy, but i tend to keep my discussions with people worthwhile of the discussion.  "If you hunt long enough for a rabbit in the woods, surely you will find one"  Not sure why I added that, but just seemed appropriate.

Fifth, This one goes out to Jack.  Again I have met him personnally, and am very grateful for the invite he extended to me.  But Jack, speaking as a business person, if I was you (which we both know I am not, and this is simply my opinion), I would really stay away from the troll hunting.  Helpful advice is one thing, but to air your bad business dealings on a message board, seems to me bad business.  I understand you have some problems, but ALL businesses do, and they solve them without causing any potential customers to think why would I want to deal with that business if they cannot keep their business private.  Sorry Jack for saying this here, but you seem to have no problems with sharing your business activites online.  Please don't hate me for this, as I would really enjoy just sitting down with you over dinner and talking  I only say these things to help you, and I hope you seriously take my simple words to heart).  I still respect you for all the GOOD things you do.  And from what I can tell, the good things far outway the trival BS that I see here.

Sixth, sorry guys for my long post, but just some thoughts that have been with me for awhile.  Please don't flame me, just because I share my thoughts, and may have a different opinion then yours...

Excellent, excellent post. I, like you and am dissapointed with the way this list is going. Over the past few months, I made several small posts, strictly on the subject of travel to the FSU. I never cared to read or get involved with the petty back-biting that sometimes goes on, or the compleatly off-subject discussions.

I would also like to make a comment about Jack. I don't know who he is. I didn't know he was pushing his business on this list. I had never heard of this Jack. My first and only post not directly related to travel in the FSU was in support of a post that I liked and thought was relevant, while several others were very negative and downright nasty to the writer. Jack apparently decided that I and another poster, for our support of the original poster, were "SCUM", his word, not mine". If that is the way he choses to operate a business, that is his choice. If his intent was to chase away anyone who happens to disagree with him, he was sucessful. Apparently this is his list. This will be my last posting.

Sure Le, uh Den, you never post and when you do it is to glorify a stupid spoof by scum Leo. Oh, yes, that has to be one of the top two all time great post here,...sure, only to you and scum Leo.

Your such a regular contributor Den, I hate that now the list is now not heading in the direction you want, that now you leave forever (I hope).

You must think that we are all as dumb as Max!

I would also add that Jack should also stop making false claims about those who he does not know...

I'm sure that Jack has some good quailities..  I have comments on this in some past pots..  but making up porkies and false statements does not help...
