My wife's AOS interview is in late December in Philly on a friday.  In the fingerprint letter, it says the only day of the week to get fingerprinted is on a wednesday, and they give the adress for it in Philly.  Philadelphia is about 5 hours from me, and with my wife about ready to have a baby, I would really like to not have to make 2 trips there.  Is it possible to get the prints done elsewhere?

Pittsburgh isn't all that much closer for me.  We live in the center of the state, near Penn State University.  Maybe I can call Philly and ask them if I have any other options.

Try contacting nearby police departments.  I have done this on two occasions.  In fact, my previous employer, a money center bank, sends new employees to the local police department to be fingerprinted as part of the new hire process.  Also, check with the local State Police barracks.

In addition, check with Penn State to see if they have a ROTC (reserve officer training corp) on campus as the ROTC department may also do finger printing.
