I emailed Warsaw a couple of times and they always replied to me by the following Friday (all my emails went out like the Sunday before).  I have heard that they work email questions and send out the replies all around the same time.  This was true from what I seen because a good friend was asking questions and he got his replies the same day as me.  I was impressed with Warsaw, they were helpful and seemed to be on top of things.  Rick

It took them just over a week to get back to me, but they seemed to have sh!t together and we had no problems what so ever.

I faxed the signed OF-169 to them.  That was 9/28/01.  I called a few days later and confirmed that a provisional file had been opened and got the WRW number.  It wasn't until October 10th that they emailed the date of the interview (which is scheduled for November 9th).

... in response to CinTexas,  what Phone Number did you use..., posted by Paul S on Oct 29, 2001

011-48-22-625-10-42 between 10 and 12 AM or between 2 and 4 PM their time.  Any other time you get the automated response system.  Use a phone with a redialler.  It takes MANY redials to get through.

I was able to get through immediately by calling 011-48-22-628-30-41 but I couldn't get past the lady that answered the phone.  She was politely insistent that I use the other number at the appropriate times.  Maybe you're better than I at that sort of thing?

Not sure about Warsaw, however they stopped to open provisional files in Moscow until they get all documents from INS, and they also told me that this applies to all Eastern Europe embassies... I guess it worth to make a a call to Warsaw to clarify thigs with them directly.
Good luck
