Hello,

This is my second try in posting this message.  Can anyone tell me how difficult it is for an Ukrainian citizen to get a transient visa in Brussels, Belgium?  My finacee will be traveling from Kiev to Dallas via Brussels and my travel agent told me that this is not that difficult.

Thanks

... in response to Brussels Airport, posted by CY on Oct 29, 2001

I'll stick my neck out here and say that if she has the K-1 visa for the US in her passport and she is traveling enroute to the US (has a ticket to the US), than she will have no problem being able to board the plane and debarking in Brussels to make a connecting flight.  If however, she is planning to leave the airport terminal to stay in a hotel because her plane doesn't leave until the following day, than she will probably need a transit visa.  This should not be difficult to get since she has the US K-1 visa stamp in her Ukrainian passport plus the ticket showing the flight leaving for the US the next day.  I would certainly try to find a Belgium embassy website and look up the requirements.
