I got approximately 376 responses but only about 20 interested me. EC uses a web site now. With the printed catalog it took 4 1/2 months to get sent out and get the first responses.
A lot of the letters you get seem like a cruel joke because the women are so ugly, worse than I ever dated, but maybe some of the Russian women think the same thing when we write. I had to discontinue my search because of a family illness after writing only 10 of the women. Of those 10, only 5 of so wrote back and only 1 continued a long term correspondance. I forgot to enclose my picture on a a couple of letters and I think the girls didn't know who I was. One tried to scam, me and a couple were just not patient enough to wait until I could come visit.
A few girls were actually too good looking to write to. One girl was what I considered to have a physically perfect body. I would have never clicked on a thumbnail picture of her if I saw it on a web site because she had only a nice looking face. You tend to click on the girls with the prettiest faces when you're looking through a web site and you can't tell what kind of figure they have.
I've just decided now to write the girls that I like. If you do advertise, you will get responses from women that go to the agencies and look at these catalogs of men. Some of those women are not in any catalog but are pretty good.
