I copy the following sad news from Russianwomanlist as I think it may be of interest or even of consequence to some who read this list.
Anatoly was for many guys an important contact for meetings and background checks in the Belarus and I considered using his services one time.
You can still read about him on match-seeker. com, and he gave a good introduction to scam, for example on imas. virtualave. net/scam. html.

Subject: Anatoly Neverov was murdered
This is the first special announcement I have ever made on any of my
Yahoo lists. I have terrible news. Anatoly Neverov was murdered last
month in his apartment in Minsk. According to my source, Anatoly was
shot and killed by two men who were either hired killers or directly
involved in some sort of business that was in competition with
Anatoly.
I first met Anatoly in 1996 when I rented an apartment from him in
Minsk. He was very active on several Belarus related discussion
lists, and was active on several lists that I was involved in. I was
able to meet him again last summer, and spent time socializing with
him in Minsk. We shared a bottle of good vodka on a warm August
evening and talked about life, business, philosophy, and anything
else.
Anatoly was involved in lots of businesses in Minsk, and I was told
that someone wanted him silenced. As more information becomes
available, I will share it. My wife talked to someone that knew what
happened on Monday morning, and we will try to contact Mrs. Neverov
soon.
Anatoly leaves behind a wife, a mother, a teenage son and an adult
daughter.
He will be missed.
