I hate racial discussions in a way,think we are all basically the same under our facades,but it is important and I was reminded of it again today,from a different angle.So here goes.I know this has been discussed before,but this is from a differnt perspective than we are usually looking at.
My maid Luz Meri comes in this morning.She tells me this story of breaking up with her 47 year old colombiano boyfriend and him threatening her.I thought she was saying he hit her ,but not so,her cousin protected her.But she is scared,he lives nearby and she will be seeing him and I guess he is a violent type and also a big guy.
We talked about Luz and posted some pictures on WLC about 3 weeks ago.She is a 24 year old black woman with a 2 year old son.She is cute,sexy,nice,thoughtfull and quite street smart if not formally educated.She recently went back to school to get a GED type high School certificate.She wants to learn English,I gave her an MP3 player and some English CD's.
I am thinking life is really tough for this woman,but there might be a gringo out there who would be interested.I tell her I am going to hook her up.She says with who?I say a gringo.She says gringos no gusto then rubs her skin.I tell her thats not totally true,not all the time.I tell her of a blanco amigo with a black wife,they are even the same age and doing very well.And several of my black friends with black wifes.It IS possible.IF more difficult sometimes.
She doesn't think so.
OK,we have talked ALOT about how back men are percieved by Colombianas.I think the bottom line with my black friends is this is me,If you gusto fine,if not don't waste my time.One good amigo just found a blanca shade Colombiana that prefers black men.Luz says even Black gringos like white Colombianas.Sometiomes,maybe alot.But the opposite happens also,Black Colombianas wanting white gringos.
So I guess bottom line the question is,would any of you guys like to meet a pretty sweet sexy nice black woman of 24 ?One guy went for her just trying the quick lay,which got him nowhere.Soltero,a friend of hers also I have said if you go there,meaning date her you better treat her good or you will be taking to us about it.
She is shy about photos.But you can look at some Soltero posted on WLC and we can do more.We need some face shots,but I will not post them I don't think,just mail to interested guys.What say Soltero?
In Colombiana there is even what I will call a "shades of" discrimination.You can be part black but it seems if you are very dark that might work against you.Then there is the class economic system on top of everything else,people with money or family connections thinking they are better.Lots of cronyism in Jobs.My Colombian amigo Adrian has gone to lots of interview,is BY FAR the best candidate but doesn't get the job because it goes to someones friend or relative.He even got layed off after he set up the whole exportation process for some goods to The US only to have the job then given to the bosses wifes sister.
Speaking of shades of and ethnic mixing,its very common here.Most people are probably a combination of European as well as black and or native person .Beatriz tells me her father was Black.I am thinking I see some influence but not strong,he must have been less than full blooded.I see his picture,he appears as a light skinned black but definetly black features.Beatriz darker skin but not much of the features.I have said I wish she had got more of the butt and the lips,because I LIKE THAT.Slotero and I on the same page here,BUTTMAN.What mosts guys would think is fine we think too skinny.We want a little more backside on her,prefer too much to too little.
