Yesterday was interesting.I  mentioned I am taking prednesone,a cortesteroid,fopr my ulcerative colitis. ITS  a bad drug with huge side effects but the salternative is most likely surgury,so ts necessary if bad sat the same time.
I  had a lung problem problrem for sa month,coughing up ugly flem.I  know its related to ther drug,with flu or a cold that phase last maybe 2 days.It was stpid of me to not gt it che ked out.Beatriz did tell my doctor but got only some lame suggestions from him.I think I could have killed it with oral antibiotcs if I had done that earlier.But the solution in my mind was get off the prednesone.I am down to one third dose.It has done its thing,put the colitis in remission.
Yesterday I get a fever,chills and have difficultyb breathing. Beatriz jumps righton it.What a find she is,what a strange thing to find tyhe one person who can most help me here.Fate more than luck,divine guidance?Sometimes I think I get plenty of that,the unusual things that happen in my life.
ANYWAY,I go to Imbansaco,I have a lung infection.They do my blood work.It is poor,the prednesone.I did the blood work in April,it was fine.My gastroenterologist says prfoblems with prednesone are rare.Bullshit.I can read as well as I have my own bad experiences.I wish he was right,he is dead f--king wrong,not the first doctor to be so,about the 4th.I  wish I was wrong,because everytime I have to take this drug it causes problems.I wish he was right.But,it beats sur5guryI am lucky its avaiable/.
Ok,they want tp keep me in the hospital fotr 2 dsys.I fel bnetter now,as good as the lasdt 4 eeks when they are doing nothing.Porque??Well,we have give youIV antibiotic.I have a live in nurse,she can do that.You might have aq problem.If I do I can beback here in 10 miniutes.Basicall iuts standard treatment,standard thinking with not one miniutes thought to alternastive.The this how we do it Cs
Colombian type thinking,which happens much in the US in medical thinking.And there because of high costs and insurance i might be forced to do whart t6hey want or pay a fortune.Here the alternatives are cheap.i can walkmout,get the treatment I choose,get asnothhrer doctor,whatever I want.
So,Beatriz is trying to talk me in tgo it.Adrian is sayimg you have to do it/i am saying unless they can give me a good reason,no f--king way.They will not let Beastriz give ner the Iv.
's.sup[osedly you cannot jusy buy thejm over the counter.I know I could but might lose precious time getting the,I do not disagree withg their treastment plan,just where we will do it.A hospital is like Jail.And I have lots of stuff working right now.thery are pissed.Beatriz is on the edger of getting introuble I  tell them don't blame her,she wants me to do what you say.
But,low asnd behold a solution.I can psay this home service merdical company to come here and tresat me.Did anybody tell me that?No,not untill I really prss the isueone nurse fills me in.
And,I wasgoing tom have to pay,1,000,000 pesos a night for a room.$40,mas omenus.and the hoime service.,which Beastriz could easily do but we don't want her top getv blamed,costs about 600,000.So I save 1,600,000 plus staying in a f- - king hospital,to me much worse thasn the costs.
Now Beatriz is laughiung asbout it.We saved 1,600,000 pesos.Pete is not so stupid afterv all.
So I have pretty much arpungt the clock nurses for one dasy,then threy will come twice a day for another day,like 2.5 days total  I am here.So much better.
They are thinking I asm real stubborn.They are right.if I was not I would not have a colon .I have been trained to be stubborn.if they give me a bad time I am going to rip them a new one,point out the SDTUPIDITY of their standard thinking.
And,I sam in the middle of total life changes here,things are happening fast, more on thast later.

Sometimes I sam tired,sick and very interupted ar5ound here.My spelling is poor not in knowledge but because I hunt a peck and do not watch the serceen but the Keyboard.In addition todsay I m typing eith one hand the other have  an IV  attached tp the pthere.I look at the scrren and see al caps not intended.And sometimes I don't back up and do it again with one hand.I heve to hit allo caps then remover it with one hand for capitals.
SO,don't read too much i to the basd spelling.AND I am a person who thginks it the message that is important,not the spelling.
A story., I hsve many asyou know.We had a Dutch Eng9inner working with us atv my job 30 yeasrs ago.Spoke good english.Was good in grammar.If there was a sperlling mistake on a plan he weould catch it everry time.it was what he was looking for.But there could be an error you could drive a truck thropugh,something WAY wrong and he would not cstch it.Similar to the expressiojn penny weisde dollar foolish,Its the intent that counts.If that can bre determoined I did what I wanted tomnconvey.
AND I am PURPOSELY  nopt gping bsack top clean up this post,because ITS NOT IMPORTASNT TO M$E SATVTHIS MOMENT.

I don’t think the Fuzz was trying to pull a “Spelling Sheriff” on you. I think he was just acknowledging that you aren’t your regular self and it shows in your typing. I must admit that I gave up trying to understand your message because of the gross typo errors, which are perfectly understandable under the circumstances. Anyway, it’s no big deal so don’t worry about it.

Thanks Amigos and I appologise. I was in no mood for imput  yeterday,it was as struggle to post at all.
Alot of it was trying to type one hand,other an IV in it.But I am much better today and did not realise how bad the posts looked untill I went back and looked.I just sent them without review.I was exhauseted with fever and on IV antibiotics.
So sorry,no offense intended.I will do better.I need a new keyboard also.
Hopefully I am off he prednesone in 3 weeks.It probably saved me from surgury but has really bad side effects.
Even though washed out I am generally happy,decided to commit to Beatriz and get off the fence I have been stradling for a year.Lots of changes in the works.I will post more later.

Amigo.
I did not intend to snap at you.I had a very malo day,IV's nurses,typing one hand.In didn't mean to lecture.But I tried hard to post the idea,important for me to say.The grammar,spelling difficult to do rtight,not comprehend,typing one hand.One hour sleep last night.I had to get up at 3 AM to start as treatment IV,s the doctors wanted to spread it over 12 jours.I5 hours later,2 hours ago  they are done.So I didn't want to even try to be perfect but just try to post.I trully did mot nean to offend you.
But then I remember Hodas stopping his wonderfull posts over picky non understanding the point or style critisism .Thast was A RESL shame.I don't remember who did that,but we ,or the guys who neverr saw the series of posts  lost something quite wonderfull. Becasuse he quit ptig the story.But maybe he was right,these thing have magic in their time but can't be relived.
So Please, accept my asppology.Sonetimes In choose poor word or get a little smart ass.I shoildn't.The last thing I want do is offend or start a flame war.I hate that.And I don't ever remember us having any issues before.
I am actually quiet happy in my life right now,exciting new plan.,But when I think of doctors who wanted to cut out my colon ande have me wearing  a bag of shit I get angry,To me thats a MINOR  improvement over a bullet in the head.They shoot horses don't they?
Really I might have choose poor words,But I do NOT want to offend you or anyone.

Thanks,just frustrating right now.They started hooking me up at 4AM,I was told the IV's  would be over at 4PM.now she tells me 6.30 PM
14.5 hours ,probably pulled out of his a-s by some doctor.But this little chica is supposed to follow instructions.I will crank it up though,she doesn't have to.

Hoda,after much encouragement starts to re post his posts of 6 years ago about his first trip to Calik  BY FAR THE MOST INTERINTERSETING SERIES OF POST EVER HERE.A HUGE PART OF IT IS HIS LANGUAGE, HE HAS HIS UNIQUE WAY OF TELLING HIS STORY.IT ADDS TO IT MAKES IT SO INTERTAINING.Some guy comes on critisizing his language.He say f- - k it,you can't recreate the past.You guys that never read the original posts don't have ANY  idea what you missed.It was a view of a persons experience that was uniquely rare.FULL  OF  LIFE.
AND YOU MISSED IT,BECAUSE SOME NABOB WANTED TO KNOCK HIS USE OF LANGUAGE WHICH WAS INTEGRAL TO THE POSTS.IF YOU CHANGE ONE EXPRESSING YOU LOSE THE FLAVOR.
