I apologize for the late delay!! I just signed up and it took a while to get my approval.

Wow, I think I may know who this is. I was on the same tour with you. I too went on an I Love Latin’s Tour in 2003. I get off of the plane to be greeted by women who looked like they were from the Barrios of Barranquilla. If you don't know what that means, it basically means the slums. I was trying to remain skeptical about the whole thing. So as I get to the Hotel with the group. I then realize the lobby is covered with basically the same thing. I at that point said I just spent approximately $2000.00 I'm going to enjoy this the best that I can. So after my 3 days of a party and 2 events I had plenty of women to choose from. But again plenty of women in which I had to settle for. I know that even some of those women were claimed to be prostitutes sent there to make sure the guys had a good time. I am a good looking guy and have light hair and blue eyes. The girls love that over there, so I had plenty of choices but again if you were to rate the quality of the girls they were average. I also found out that most of the girls in Sam's magazines and videos that he had sent me were unavailable when I got there. But yet he still markets them as being available. I spent so many hours watching those tapes and going through those magazines deciding and narrowing down my search. It was all just a waste of time. I had booked the additional luxury of Sam's bed and breakfast. Yes, I believe I was in the room next to you Turok. This Bed and Breakfast thing is what really made me say you just got taken BIGTIME! No hot water, no towels or wash cloths, no toilet paper. Kitchen stunk like death and this poor little girl with a huge calcium deposit problem was the cook. If you all have ever seen anything like that well to eat after seeing that was impossible. The best part was looking at the so called internet and phone service that was supposed to be provided. Well the computer was in pieces and the phone was disconnected. It is funny we paid $75.00 American a day for this dive and we could have stayed in a hotel for 35.00 American and had all the luxuries. So again I am in total agreeance that Sam has ripped me off among plenty of others!

On another note Sam offered me a package for an extra $100.00 I could attend the next 19 events after the original event and I took it. Well, I recently called Sam and he said I had to pay. When I confronted him. He totally denied everything. I went home that night and verified that in fact that was what I paid for. I have copies of everything I paid for!

Oh yeah and watch out for his helpers. Taxi Drivers and money exchangers. And other services they offer. They will rip you off!!! Guy’s I mean this so please listen to me. This is the Gods Honest Truth! They clearly take advantage of first time travelers

With respect guys if you believe the philosophy of you get what you pay for in this industry you are way off base. Take your time and do your research then decide. Do not trust anyone!

I wish you all the very best! And would like to say I cannot comment on other agencies at this time because I have no relationship with them. I have purchased info on girls off of other sites and found out it really isn’t worth it. You should attend the events they are much more effective.

To those of you who like to pick a fight on this forum. I would like to say that I have been to eight different countries. I know what to expect. It is a lot lower standard of life in Colombia than we are used to living. I didn’t expect to see the most exotic place in the world or women for that matter. I just want to make people aware that you can’t expect anything from these agencies. It is clearly all up to you. So please do your homework!!! It will save you time and money

Well I met him a couple of years back in BQ and I he began to tell me that he was a follower of Jesus and all the bull shit that comes with those types who use religion as a tool to scam people.

He then in the next breath offered a discount rate to go to one of his events.  Of course the other guys had paid full price.  But he told me I would have to keep it between us.

I told to stick his jesus bullshit up his arse and walked away.  What a dirtbag.

Hey Michael, it's good to have you on the board. Guys, I just wanted to let you know that I contacted Michael before I went to Baq last September to get some advice from him regarding Sam's events and Colombian women in general. At this time he was still on Sam's materials as a reference, but obviously no longer. The best advice Michael gave me (out of a lot of good advice) was to put me in touch with this translator, Sally, who has become a good friend, just as she is with Michael. Sally's input, advice, and help was invaluable as I was going thru the big events and getting to know and meet many women on this, my first trip to Colombia. She was also a great help this last March when I returned to Baq to get to know Zayne better, who is now my novia. And in fact, I met Zayne thru Sally, not from one of Sam's big events. I'll get around to posting a trip report about my last trip one of these years when things slow down.

Now, about Sam - I don't dispute the fact that you and Turok have been wronged, and I am not here to defend Sam or to start a debate, but Sam's events have been successful for many of the guys that have gone down there as you yourself would acknowledge. This is not to say that other agencies such as Jamie's, Esamor, or the ones in Cali and other cities might provide better results and treatment of their clients. And I hope the agency you're starting will have great success. Maybe I'll use your services if things don't work out in the end with Zayne, but I hope I won't need to (use your agency, that is).

Well Jeff,

  As I told you before. My concept is a lot different from Sam's and all the other mail order bride sites. I will never consider my company to be a mail order bride site. More of like a Guide-to-your-Bride site! I am very fortunate to have Sally as a partner. My ultimate goal was your success. I want to personally guide everyone and personally make sure that they are happy with my service.

  Can I do this yes I can. As far as Sam goes. I did my best to help him close the deal on his clients that was his biggest weakness. I think what went wrong was he took me for granted. Yes, I did promise him a website but when I was good and ready. I work in Television you work in Music our lives begin when the work is done. Not at 5PM or 6PM like most.

  I guess I feel after all did for him. And me paying an extra $100.00 for the next 19 events and not getting it. Then I had to come clean about him. He had one guy in particular on our tour that just walked out on his event.

  I never said he didn't have a successful business, what I am saying is that he need's to practice good business manor. As you know I tend to find the best people to work with. People I know I can trust and pay them more than the other guy which is not very hard to do.

  No one will ever use Sally like he did. It's pretty funny that Sally has attended his last few tours because of guys I have told to hire her. Quite frankly I know she will not work for Sam. He pays her like 20,000 an event. That's like what $8.00 a day.

  All and all Jeff you have been a great friend and I am very glad to have met you. I would never start this business if I didn't intend to practice it well. I have nothing against other agencies. I probably would have been fine with Sam if he had just lived up to his agreement.
