Things in our heads...
« on: March 20, 2019, 01:35:45 PM »
I have always had, (wayyy b4 'rap') this nuts ability to make up rhymes.  Maybe too bad I never write anything down, although  my wife asks me me to. Women are are usually suckers for 'hallmark' card  type  sentimental, schmaltzy words. I just hammered out a few, although they're  not exactly with wife in focus.

If I was even a half assed songwriter, there'd be breaks, change ups, and not just rhyme, ryhme, ryhme,  but if you sorta  give it a Kenny Chesney or Jimmy Buffet vibe, it's not totally pukeable, I don't think. Hell, it's probably subconsciously plagerized --we all have influences.

Since I don't write or record dates written legal an proper, maybe this if it was halfway decent and it's spittle 1st draft, not even 20 minute's worth, might show I wrote it myself and when , I guess...
Ala con dios, ala con dios, I like my women with a view.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gonna get on a jet plane, no need to explain, exactly just what I'm gonna do.

Cause I love the chicas, and they're gonna see me, until the morning tells us what to do.

Some say I'm crazy, at least I ain't lazy-- nor do I care what they think I'm gonna do.

Gonna drop in that trop scene, living a man's dream, a chica morena makes me drool.

Dont ask me to come back, because even her back, really has the better view.

Between the ocean and me, her and that deep blue sea, there's nothing
out there that we couldn't do

On that white powder sand, with her permanent tan, you know that blanket's gonna move.

It's a tropical thing, with a chica each wing.

An all is possible thought, where what you love can be sought.

An all is possible thing, ala con vista does sing, I want a chica on each wing.

And don't even think, that it's the wine that I drink.......

Coz, that's just what I'm gonna do.

---------------------------------------------------------

Your sitting in your rooms, fool of gloom and doom, no idea what's living right outside.

Craving for a change, something you just can't explain, unprepared to even make a move.

You gotta get outta that rut, and and there's no if, or and or but,

Pack your bags, just get onto the plane.

There's no telling what is there,  but by then you'll be aware,  it ain't the hell you done just left behind.

Dont care if you thank me later, or even come to hate me, just pack a bag and get upon a plane.

Be it east or west or south, find out what it's all about, just change your ways and get upon a plane.

There the sunsets will be different, the people not the same, a whole new playing field from what you thought was real.

But the facts remain the same, if you really want some change, just pack one up and get upon a plane.

Whether you think you can or think you can't--you're right!

Ala con dios bastardly, nonsensically combines french "Ala'-- a wing, wing like part or process, but  con dios,  I just looked up, means "with God", so THAT'S  not gonna work, lol.

Maybe Ala con vista? Would that mean  wing with a view?

"Ala con vista, ala con vista, I like my women with a view...."????

Sorta with Buffet's Magaritaville music going on

No it's good stuff Rob, was thinking of responding with a rhyme of my own: Rob is the BIG of Planet Love with his own gig now . Got a pretty kitty of a wife,  he's got a good life, retired and less tired, more time and less slime, been through some sh-t, now he's fit, healed that back, he can look back and smile , it'll be awhile longer he gets to enjoy life without strife, while he and his pinay grow finer like Chardonnay....

Maybe just simple "Get your ass on a plane" or "Get your ass on THE plane" towards the end. Gotta be a better way of song writing with out simple rhyming., if you listen, better songs have structure breaks.

If you don't mind country, a guy who has thoughtfully picked a lot of great tunes and made his, uh, 'straight forward' voice work well with them, is George Strait. I really think he's great on a lot of levels.
