I just stumbled across the site dateinasia.com recently...Does anyone have any experience with it?  Is is totally free to use like it says on the homepage?

yes, it's free. As everything you get what you pay for. Being free invites more scamers. I had ok luck with DiA, I had better luck with paid account on blossoms.com
