What is your specific Dell model(service tag via PM would be awesome, that will give me everything I need to know) and OS?
I don't have a service tag. It was on the bottom of the laptop & it is in very poor shape.
I formated the hardrive & put the set up disks back in that came with the machine.
my network controler now works however i am only getting a "g" signal from the router (basiclly i am rite at the edge of the router) because my 5 year old laptop doesn't have an "n" wireless card in it.
I ordered one from ebay after checking out everything that was being offered there.
