If we were all forced to wear a warning label, what would yours say?

That's very beautiful Tropical-like hotel !!  I wouldn't mind buying that - near the beach!!

It is a very nice hotel. Instead of a tall building, there are houses/huts spread all over the place. Also it is less than 5 minutes from the pier/ferry.

On special days, I would prefer to stay one of these hotels rather than "tall" buildings!

By the way, beautiful and interesting photos you have and congratulations once again ....

Great pics and 'play by play' commentary, Kfc--thanks!

We love a good trip report. It brings back wonderful memories for some of us and inspires others to follow the same journey.

Very nice pics kfc!

Did you have the full traditional kasalan with the cord, veil, candles, and coins (arrhae).
I couldn’t tell from your pics, except for the candles. There’s a lot of symbolism there.

Did you do the money dance at the reception? How about the live doves?

I always get a kick out of the little flower girls, coin bearers, and ring bearers. By the time they grow up and have their own wedding, they are already experts in the ceremony…

I will go for the CR-1.
I have her G-325A signed form, the marriage certificate, copy of her passport data page & her new passport pictures.

I will start going through everything within the next 2-3 days & see what else will I need.

Hey Ray,

I used to be the veil guy, but I guess I stabbed too many grooms with the pin!  ::) Lately, I have been the cord guy. I guess they don't think that I could accidentally hang someone.  ;D

Thanks Ray.
We had the full traditional kasalan - cord, veil, candles & coins. We didn't do the money dance or had live doves.

A hunger pain hit me so I stopped posting pics & went out for a bite. I was also chatting with Ahya until a brown-out hit & we continued our "chatting" via texting. The brownout is over but she have no internet connection.

Right now, jet lag is starting to hit me but not as bad as in February, I did get to sleep on the plane this time - right after I finished chatting with a bunch of high school teens from Chengdu, I think we all fell asleep about the same time.  ;D

Dave H. I did encounter some gays both in Manila & Cebu.

One of them completely fooled, he was made up so good that I couldn't tell the difference until I was closeup.
The cab driver said here is a bakla & I didn't know what he meant until Ahya explained it to me. Also there is a gay guy in Ahya's neighborhood, the people would whistle at him & call him something (I am not sure of the exact word is but it starts with "m") & then he would start posing.

For what little I saw, I find the people very tolerant of the gay culture in PI.
