Now we are trusting the economy of our country to a pack of nit-wits who couldn't make money running a whore house and selling booze?

Hey Jeff,

That would be hilarious if it wasn't so true! A shopping center with Home Depot was built near my house. It took 6 months to complete, after the traditional wrangling with the city for permits and zoning variances. The city has been building it's own office/shopping center across from my house for the past 3 years. So far dirt piles have been moved all over the place and back again. Some of the street lights are in.  But, the first brick has yet to be laid, no roads are in, but not working. The parking lot (wherever it is) has not been paved. There are many 'workers' and wooden stakes with ribbons that get moved around often. The 'workers' almost look like the wooden stakes with their colored helmets, except they move when it is time for breaks. I have several hard hats in various colors, so I think I will apply for a job...
So much for the government doing anything better than private businesses!
