You should ask what's love worth to you instead of me? Only that will tell ya if its worth it.
As for my costs I think they were comparable to dating an AW here but it tends to come in bigger lumps (i.e. 800 plane ticket instead of 20 dinner dates). Probably a whole lot cheaper. Its more of an adventure and stats indicate a better chance of success (unless your stupid and you wouldn't be alone if you were). So its not good money after bad like it would be if you were dating someone who was just using you for a good time.
Its a serious investment of time and thought though. I guess if you wanted a bottom-line I spent about $7-8,000 over 2 years which paid for 3 rt airfares, a wedding, her expenses after marriage, a honeymoon/vacation together, a laptop and expenses for communicating. Since getting her here she has made sure I don't spend a penny she doesn't want me to. She points out every wasted penny (but that doesn't include her laptop and cameras
).
