He was in Colombia for three days last week and rented an entire floor in the  J.W. Marriot hotel, Bogotá. On Friday he dined with ex president Alvaro Uribe. On Saturday he did the same with Minister of Justice Juan Carlos Esguerra and Minister of Hacienda Juan Carlos Echeverry in Harry´s Bar. Sunday he breakfasted in the Marriot with Minister of Defense Juan Carlos Pinzón and Minister of Mining Mauricio Cárdenas and on Monday he met with President Santos for an hour before returning to New York in his private jet. No one has said a peep about why he came.

Could be. The info about his trip I posted came from Revista SEMANA and all the individuals mentioned were government officials.

I already told you I am about to visit Colombia. Obviously I am going to send in my personal valet to make sure all the important people are prepared for my tour. I suppose I could have sent someone with a lower profile but I needed a well known Aussie to prepare the way and Crocodile Dundie is having problems with the tax office at the moment.
