Here are a few photos of Tesoro ... the one of the view outside from the hills really doesn't do justice to how beautiful it is ...
Good photos, whitey. And yep, the outside view is pretty much was I saw at night as well. A photo just doesn't do it justice. Nice pic of Nazly also.  ;)

Mmmm ... crepes and waffles? I'll have to look that up, Dan. I did not spend very much time in Tesoro. But I told Glory I wanted to go back when I return in April. She told me there was yet another nice mall in the area also that was brand new and she had not been to yet called San Fernando. It is apparently near Oviedo.

Crepes and waffles is  a chain restaurant that you will find at many locations in colombia.. I think I have been to almost every mall in Medellin during my journeys, There is also a little amusement park in Sabaneta called "parque trebol" They have an interesting experience in which two people sit inside an inflated ball and it rolls down hill. I don't recommend it after having lunch. they have paintball there, a zipline ride, a climbing wall and it was fun to spend a couple of hours there. Here is a link to a youtube video of the ball ride

Thanks Zulu.

She's 35, but probably looks a couple years younger.

I've got tons of photos from Medellin. Maybe I'll post a few more sometime.

Thanks guys.

Great photos, Whitey. I hope you will excuse me but I never tired of looking at your beautiful wife!

No, I don't mind the complements at all ... it's very nice of you guys to say.

I don't get tired of looking at her either.  It was a lot of fun selecting these pictures out of the many from our trip, and it's one of the ways I endure these crappy Canadian winters and the 3 month separations between my next trip when we can be together again.

Cool whitey ... thanks for posting. If you haven't seen Pueblito Paisa with the Christmas lights ... it's pretty cool. I'll see if I can dig up some decent photos of it. I don't take night shots very well.  ::)

What is the tan, modern looking building ... there are some people playing in what looks like a fountain in the front of it? I didn't see that when I was there.

It's called Parque de Los Pies Descalzos (Barefoot Park).

I can't remember the metro stop, but on all four corners of the major intersection, there is a major public space or building like the park, a solarium, and two amusement-type parks, one of which is called Parque Explora.

Pretty incredible, modern, and a lot of money invested.

Apparently there is a little more to Medellin than just Parque Lleras ... ;)
