Scammer Question
« on: June 26, 2010, 11:49:02 AM »
As a general rule, would you say that the greater percentage of scammers or green card girls are younger as opposed to women in their late 30's or 40's?

Also, comparing the Filipinas, Russians, and Latin Amercian women, what is your opinion on what group has the highest and lowest percentage of scammers/ green card girls?

American women are the highest percentage of scammers. Telling you one thing and delivering on something else entirely. You can get scammed in Russia, Colombia, the Philippines, Nigeria or Des Moines. You can also find good women in all of those places.

My guess is that straight, out and out green card whores are extremely rare. Ones that'll cook, clean smile and spread their legs for you for 2+ years until their green cards arrive in the mail only to bolt the next day. To be honest I've never met one, only heard rumors that they exist.

On the other hand, most of the billion plus single women in the world, especially those living in poverty would jump at the chance to meet, marry and take care of a nice American man who will treat them right.

So finding the right one is all about your skills in using your big head, not in playing the odds.

If you really don't want to get scammed, marry a women from a wealthy family in a first world country, for whom it is a step down in economy to move to the US and wash your underwear.

My experience, which is somewhat limited, is this; if shes less than half your age it's probably a scam. Now if you're 22 and shes 11 then I don't think applys because it's probably illegal and if not illegal, it's at least immoral. ;)

You will not get scammed if you are looking for the right woman.

I do not know what you look like, but if you are a fat, bald, old, bad smell, poor appearance, cheap clothing ...... and you are looking for a 'hot' girl ... so what do you expect?  She will not scam you ???

Nothing to do with countires, because the 'hot' girl from your own country wouldn't want to date you  (only if you are what I have descripted), so why shouldn't it be difference to Colombian!!

well I'll just throw my 2 cents worth in here.
my understanding it that the divorce rate here in the US is about 50%
It has been posted here more than once that the divorce rate between Americans & Filipino's is only about 10%. so rite out of the gate i see a big advantage by you marring a lady from the Philippines. however you will still need to do your research so you don't end up with a bar girl or a green card shark, it's just that the odds start out in your favor from the get go.

good luck

Hey "cat" the way i found my wife is i got on FH & did a search for the newest members without pictures. this way i knew they were not already talking with other guys because they had only been on the site a couple of hours. Both ladies that i sent messages to responded back & for a while i was chatting with each of them.
there came a time & i had to make a choice, which was hard because i liked both of them a lot. I kept the cute one around & ended up marrying her.

I think if you start out saying to yourself " i am going to marry the hottest woman in the  Philippines or what ever country then hey man i sure wish you all the best but here is the problem. if it doesn't work with you a super hot woman knows she can always get another guy in about 2 seconds. so if things get tough why would that type of woman choose to stick it out with you??

I think my wife is nice looking & she has a nice body, however she is NOT a fashion model. she is just a nice looking lady that is even nicer inside.

Many ladies are not into the young, pretty boy metrosexuals.  Some ladies like those "qualities" ("fat, bald, old, bad smell, poor appearance, cheap clothing"  in a man..."Beauty and the Beast."  ;D Add a little money into the equation and you have a combination that is tough to beat! Remember, women like it when you spend money on them...not yourself!  ;D

Yeah, I always get a chuckle with some of those posts that say things like if you're a 6.5, you should only date women who are between a 5.8 and a 7.2, or if she's 12 years or more younger, it has to be a scam. This kind of thinking demonstrates an ignorance of women and their motivations. The truth is that men and women are hard wired differently. They think differently, the characteristics they're looking for in a mate are evaluated entirely differently. Maybe Gen X and Y AW don't think so, but the rest of the world surely does. There are plenty of marriages among men on this board with 20+ year age differences. We even have some fat, bald, ugly, smelly guys married to gorgeous women who seem to be happy and their wives aren't even complaining too much.

Pure nonsense!

So why did YOU get scammed? Are you fat, bald, old, bad smell, poor appearance, cheap clothing, or all of the above?

American Women are the highest percentage of scammers hands down.  They have one objective, see how much they can get you to spend on them and how much cash they can extract from you before sex.   After sex you are pretty much an ATM machine.  Marriage is pretty much an investment for the 50% payout they get at the end!

We are scammed in the good ole USA as a matter of fact!  We have gotten so used to our dilemma that we think that's just the cost of dating!  Just plain crazy!

All other women around the world pale in comparison to our female citizens.  When you meet a scammer from the Asian countries you mentioned, what are they asking for?  ......see how much they can get you to spend on them and how much cash they can extract from you before sex.   After sex you are pretty much an ATM machine.  Hmmmm....same as the "regular" American Women.

No matter where you go in the world you will find this type of nonsense.  However in the USA its with the vast majority of women!  That's a sad fact!

American Women- "Whats mine is mine, whats yours is mine... or soon will mine be after the divorce!"

If you are looking for a good woman, take your time, find a foreign country that fits your needs, and go about looking for that right woman for you!  Odds are you will find a great mate in whatever foreign country that you end up searching.

I wouldn't spend a lot of time worrying about scammers, they will be pretty easy to weed out!  (It will be so funny how you can see them coming....and if you are still attempting to date domestically you will be amazed at the boldness of our domestic scammers!!)

Just my 2 cents!!

Nigerian scams are pure artwork!  But they know they are scamming!!  And they don't try those silly games with Nigerian men like our domestic goddesses do with us!!

American women feel like they are FREEKIN ENTITLED TO YOUR $$$$!!  They are actually pissed when you say NO to their silly game!

They have actual LAWS in place to make sure they get your $$$ by whatever means necessary!!!!!

Scamming knows no distinct age group and isn't just a male or female thing. Still, I would guess that most scammers are between the ages of 18 and 30 y/o and in the Philippines, mostly female with some guys in the action with them. But I for SURE wouldn't rest easy, thinking "Oh well--she's over 30 and probably isn't a scammer". There are still plenty at all ages and the older ones are probably at the top of their games.

It takes three things to ferret out scammers: time, time and time. And in that time, you should really meet not just her, but her friends and family to see for  yourself what she's really like, after you've logged a lot of correspondence time--online, on cam, hopefully hand written letters, phone calls, etc.
Whether you think you can or think you can't--you're right!

I don't think age is a factor.  Typically it will be 18 to 30 or so but only because they get most of the action.  They will come at you from every age if that's how they make their money and their game can be very simple and quick- i need money for sick/emergency/school, to a long term confidence game where you actually marry the babe!

If you are already reading P-L you should be well equipped to handle both!
