Those guys at gringos.com have closed their site with no notice to their members yet again. I think the owner of that site has some mental problem and a couple guys that know him personally said he is kind of strange. He tries to extort money from people for donations and then reopens the board. Not a great way of doing business if you ask me. I hope that this board will be just as good as far as quality goes. I heard about it from another member of gringo talk.

The board says it is for sale. hard to sell something when everyone is locked out of it. For ad revenue alone I'm not sure he'd get the offers he's looking for. Only a select few would really be interested in it. I could see someone like Jamie buying it to direct traffic to his agency, motel, language classes, and all that. Or some other agency or tour.
