Thai Airways Domestic Price goes up

TG increased its domestic flight fees by 35% effective April 1. In some cases, prepaid fares are up over 50%.

THere is NoK Air available at about 40% of Thai Airways to most major cities. However, there are problems since they both cover the same routes. In my city, I will have to fly Thai Airways up to Udon or wait 8 hours in Bangkok to get Noq Air. On my return, I have to leave on NoK air at630AM or travel at 6PM the night before.

End result- one way on each? about 70% of the TG full fare round trip

I have notice that prices are going up like there is a fuel shortage or something. .

Normally prices go up during the peak seasons but not at a high percentage like that & across the board.
I also notice that the usually cheaper flights - more connections, longer boarding time, etc are in some cases about the same price (or more expensive) than the shorter/less connection flights.

Now there is an airline is now charging customers for carry-on luggage. I hope that the others do not follow suit.
