I have been walsing around these forums, trying to find my girl. I have mainly been focusing on the FSU women, but lately also tried Asian and Latina and found a really nice Brazilian girl she is breaking all my rules of "good English" (She doesnt speak two  words) But she gave me her phonenumber anyway, and of course I had to call her

We have talked quite a lot now on msn (with google translator) And i am quite sure she is the kind of woman I am looking for. I am thinking of a two week trip in April, but Im a bit worriev about the languaget thing, if we can get along :S

Anyway Im back in the saddle again (By the way I tried some local dating sites also and the only response was some unsolicited letter from 45 year old women with three kids)

Take along an English/Portuguese dictionary and work it out between you. It's a good test of a relationship to see if you can communicate in spite of the language difficulties. In some ways it can lead to excellent communication because it forces you to listen and really figure out what the other person is saying. If you share a common language a lot of times you don't really listen and you assume that you know what the other person meant. My wife and I never had that problem.

I will ditto what UC says ..... the more you have to work at it the reward is greater . Guys who hire translators I think are a little lazy ... if you have some real serious business to discuss then by all means hire yourself a translator .
