I think we ought to let them talk with their consulate. The consulate has the right, in fact the obligation, to offer to make one phone call to his family in the home country then say (in the appropriate language) "Uh huh. Well, looks like you in a heap o trouble boy. Good luck." as he hands him a list of lawyers licensed to practice in that jurisdiction who claim to speak his language. It's always been my understanding that that is all the US consulate will do for one of us should we be incarcerated in a foreign country.

With aid from the consulate formality out of the way, we should then proceed with the trial and whatever sentence the trial results in.

Most people do not know this whole story.  Oddly enough while this gang was raping brutalizing and torturing theses 14 and 16 y.o. girls I drove my car within 200 feet of the act.  I drove by it 8 more times before the bodies were discovered.  It was beside a rairoad track behind some trees 200 feet off a major street on the northwest side of Houston.  I didn't know the younger girl but I seen her lots of times.

I watched the trial on TV and the PARENTS WERE THERE.  MOF, the father of this evil demon beat up one of the parents of the girls on national TV because that parent said that the boy was probably like his father.  Just like when the girls were being raped and tortured to death, no one helped even in the court room.

This guy was the gang leader, he ordered and participated in the entire act.  He laughed and cheered and encouraged the others.  When the gang was through repeatedly raping these girls (for over four hours) they tried to kill the girls.  The youngest wouldn't die so they took off their shoes and beat her repeatedly hit and kicked her trying to kill her and when that didn't work they took the shoe strings out and wrapped them around her neck and strangled her to death.  They said it took almost three hours for her to die.

I wish they had just turned the boy lose because many in our neighborhood wanted to talk with him and initiate him into his new gang.  Curse him, his gang, this parents and his supporters to hell.

One less piece of human scum taking up space, maybe his maker will have some mercy on his rotten soul...thankfully, the great State of Texas had no mercy for his worthless arse.

They never asked to speak to their country's consulate. They weren't prohibited by the Texas authorities. I've got no use for their worthless asses either. Hasta la vista.
