New here
« on: July 22, 2007, 01:27:12 PM »
Hello, my name is Steve and I am new here. I am hoping to get some information from people who have visited the Philippines or lived there. I am starting to plan a trip there for April and May 2008 and there are a lot of things to learn. I am not necessarily going there to find love but I certainly will welcome true love no matter where it comes from. I am very attracted to the strong family values that I have seen in the few Filipinos I’ve known and that is very hard to find here in the states. But even if I don’t find love there are so many beautiful places I would like to see and I really enjoy learning about other cultures. I will try to look through the past postings but feel free to drop me any advice.

Thanks,

Steve

Welcome aboard Steve. We're always happy to have new posters, particularly because most of the posters on the Asian board are married already.

Yes...the percentage of happily married guys on the Asian board really makes you think.

Welcome Steve.  If you know a few Filipinos then an introdcution is just in the asking.  My opinion that sort of introduction is the best because of the influence and pressure the person who introduces you can apply.  Filipinas don't have the uninhibited social freedoms we do from an early age and tend to listen to and respect those individuals.
