And the big question is... all these women have been there all this time without a boy friend, either foreigner or Colombiano all these years? Do they all just wait around, and use vibrators until they get married to a gringo , after which they find a Colombian "Mosso" and start screwing around? ;)

I think it's pretty much a given that if a girl is with an agency and doesn't have anything serious going on with a gringo, she's going to be having some fun with the local talent in the mean time.

For sure. If they are smoking hot their date card is likely full. The great thing about communities that are business hubs is that with high level employment comes hot women that are educated and very busy. There are a surprising amount of hotties some places that don't jump for guy to guy. They are career oriented and busy. They've had some past boyfriends and adult encounters with them but have spent a fair amount of time being single as well.

As elexpatriado puts it I've been to one of the top 10 most dangerous cities in the world. That probably wasn't the smartest choice on my part.
Retiring in Tela, Honduras is 14,600 days (haha)

I'd say it's best to just assume the same, agency or no agency (namely she'll be having fun or at least keeping her options open locally) and to go one step further, that if even she does have something "serious" going on (is close to, or even engaged) with some guy who lives in some nation far away, that she may still be "having some fun" and/or keeping options open with the local talent.

It'll be like that until that foreigner/gringo takes her away from her native element. The games are always being played and the odds will always remain variable, according to the playing field, amongst various factors.

Just seen way too many guys talk about their GFs, fiancée's  (even wives) as if they were cleaner than the driven snow, only to have it all crash and burn when the truth came out. You could start counting by taking note of guys who posted a lot just here alone, guys who were either close to getting legally married, or got married and in both cases disappeared from here.  Faster than a fart in a firestorm.

They say "Absence makes the heart grow fonder". Sorry guys, it more typically makes the heart go wander.

Strictly a hypothetical statement that requires much more extensive testing to validate. :D

What makes you think she's gonna stop these shenanigans once you bring her to the US? A chastity belt or something...Lots of Colombians all over now..they bread like cockroaches..if you pardon the expression..and they'll settle for other latinos  and even gringos too..

If a gal's been on ACG for 7-10 years, I would really question her motives, and wanna check out her history..

My statement was intended 'tongue in cheek'. If some rube wants to bite, so be it.

Been out in public as a kid in the USA during race riots, with whole neighborhoods burning and being looted, me picking up brass bullet casings as 'souvenirs', getting stuff from National Guard guys perched on tanks too. Wasn't much brighter of me to be walking around Makati, Manila during martial law, while an attempted coupe de tat was going on, machine guns and wired booby traps on both sides, as I gathered pamphlets from the rebels, mildly annoyed (let yourself get TOO annoyed and you lose perspective) that there was no available transportation in or out.

It's weird how you feel so very much alive at moments like that and at least myself, I had a feeling in those situations that 'my number' wasn't up--I was really very aware I was in a bizarre situation but yet I was serene and thinking. Should've felt much different during my forays into 99.9% Spanish South Bronx when it was at it's worst, with people selling babies for heroin, but hey, here I am, almost as dumb as ever--but not a billionth as dumb as I was back then! But even then, I was never totally unaware or unconnected to conditions at hand.

I remember a couple trips ago to the town closest to my wife's family village--where you have to go for say, a big sack of rice. The day before, some communists had rolled a hand grenade into the corner bakery I frequent, killing several innocent citizens. Timing.

Only time in my life I actually had a 'sixth sense' pounding in my head, telling me to take flight was around the Tutuban Mall, in Manila's Chinatown. I've been to Chinatowns all over the world and in general they're somewhat insular, but this trip was different. Only way I can relate how I felt in those moments is to say that the moments felt like hours. Imagine feeling like the characters in the great film "Apocalypse Now" and how they must have felt going up the river to Colonel Kurtz's encampment--a sense of impending, inevitable doom if they proceeded--very bad vibes. No jungle along a river, but feeling like millions of unseen, but unfriendly eyes upon you is how I felt. I knew if I didn't get out of there real soon, I'd probably be leaving in pieces later on. So I grabbed my babe and we ran like hell!

It's actually impressive how many would venture to Cali in the past. Credit the internet and the profit motive for hyping it up. I don't care what country we are talking about. There are just some places that are a bad idea. Cali is probably one of them. Walking around on the south side of Chicago is another. Just a big no thanks for me these days. I'll go to a resort in Mexico or head to Costa Rica but that's about it now. And that's just to show the kid off to the family.

I probably have to go to Cali for business next week..no big deal for a visit...I keep my nose pretty clean usually...still, not my favourite place to live, and the crime is only a part of it..dirty, hot, boring, unorganized...

just business, I wont be looking for chicas, cuz I am kinda into something serious in Medallo, and I dont wanna jeopradize that...wanna get in and out as quick as possible...

Sorry buddy- you dont look like your serious- even admitted it yourself. The two women you mention  were a Rumbera and a woman studying to work in a Peluqueria. And 21 and 18. And you admit that the physical part is the highest priority..take  a real hot one back to LA and see how longit lasts..

The Colombians tell all us old guys we look young. They tell me I look 37 or 38 and I am 57.

Glad you had fun anyway..

I thought this  was  a site for guys looking for "wives"...

Maybe that is too general. Should change the name tp "Planet Lust"..

Elexpatriado: You are free to interpret my trip report anyway you like. But I do approach this endeavor sincerely for marriage. The trip to Cali was no exception. I never said the physical part was the highest priority...though I did say it is an important consideration.

Also, note that on another trip to Colombia in 2011 I used a different agency (in Barranquilla) and met an age appropriate girl (early 30's) who was a PERFECT match for me in the looks department.  However, after dating for a while I had to drop that woman because I discovered she was NOT the right match character and personality wise. So if I was ONLY honing in on the physical aspect I would have pulled the trigger with that lady.

Finally, as for the "rumbera" girl I did meet at the sidewalk cafe. You got the wrong impression from the trip report (possibly my initial report is partly to blame for that). But that young woman is not a shallow "party" girl at all. She happens to be a hard working girl (fully employed and studying English). She is also very sweet and has a solid character.

Trust me, I grew up in and live in what is perhaps the gold digging capital of the USA (outside of Miami maybe). Tons of shallow, materialistic party girls to be had here in So.Calif. I am sure Cali (Colombia) has its share too. But the gal I called Maria in my trip report is a 100% honest, sincere and sweet girl. You can take that one to the bank.

Be safe on your upcoming trip to Cali.
