Mosque & Gay Bar to open next to each other near Ground Zero
« on: August 13, 2010, 08:46:56 PM »
All the news that is fit to print.

As most of you already heard, there are plans to open a Mosque a few blocks from Ground Zero. Pres. Obama now backs that plan.

Now there are plans to open a gay bar right next door to the mosque.
Fox New's Greg Gutfeld is "planning to build and open the first gay bar that caters not only to the West but also Islamic gay men."

And open one of these stores on the other side of the Mosque.

That's the beautiful thing about Freedom Of Speech & Expression.  Our Founding Fathers were actually pretty visionary.  Some one wants to practice "in-your-face" free speech?

That's fine, just remember that this road travels in both directions.  The more I look at it, the more skittish I get about messing with the Constitution.

People talk about altering the 14th Amendment, which gives people born in the U.S. automatic citizenship.  Nah, leave it alone, there are other means to accomplish the management of the Illegal Immigration issue.

Anchor babies notwithstanding.

I disagree! The provision for amendments to The Constitution was made so that it would remain as relevant today as the day it was the day it was written!  The 14th Amendment was adopted in 1868. Parts of of the citizenship clause of the 14th Amendment (especially jus soli AKA birthright citizenship) need to be changed to meet the best interests of the United States today! I am infinitely more afraid of liberal appointed Supreme Court Justices' off the wall interpretations of The Constitution!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m with Dave on this one.

Why the hell should we just sit back and watch a bunch of arrogant, unwelcome, disrespectful ILLEGAL aliens take advantage of our laws by crawling through a hole in the border fence solely to drop their kids on our soil and then claim full citizenship rights and benefits for their little brats? Screw them!

I say change the 14th amendment to put a stop to this STUPID anchor baby npnsense now! And if the dumb-ass president of Mexico don’t like it, tell the idiot to keep his stinking nose out of our politics and worry about his own screwed up country!

But of course president Obozo will continue to bow and lick the boots of these dumb-assed foreign “leaders” who demand that we kiss their asses.

Does anyone personally know of someone who voted for Obozo? I can’t find a single soul who will admit to it…   LOL!

Mexico president slams Arizona 'discrimination'

WASHINGTON – President Felipe Calderon hit out at "discrimination" against Mexican immigrants in Arizona, as the row over the state's draconian new immigration law risked overshadowing his US visit.

Calderon refused to hold his punches during his two-day state visit, strongly criticizing a law that while popular in Arizona has enraged Hispanics and stoked fears of racial profiling.

"Despite their enormous contribution to the economy and society of the United States," (SAY WHAT THE FUCH?) Calderon said, millions of immigrants "still live in the shadows, and at times, like in Arizona, even face patterns of discrimination."

Calderon was welcomed at a red-carpet White House ceremony full of pomp and pageantry.

And the two leaders later toasted each other at a gala White House dinner that brought together a who's who of Mexican and Mexican-American personalities, lightening the mood with entertainment by R and B diva Beyonce.

During his visit, Calderon will also seek to convince US lawmakers that drug violence in Mexico is not spiraling out of control, despite gruesome beheadings and daily gun battles. (No FRIGGIN" way anyone is that stupid...Well, then again maybee...)  ::) ::) ::)

Hey Ray,

Why doesn't Obozo take the other Bozo to Burger King? They can bow before The King, eat Kid's Meals, have fun on the playground, and save US taxpayers a ton of US Dollars! (Illegal Mexicans are smart, they send their money back to their families in Mexico)

Hey Ray!

Obozo  ;D  :D
I am so throughly disgusted with the direction of this policies for illegals and their sympathizers.  I am pleased that we are going to have an opportunity to vote these bozos out of office soon.  I hope to Christ the new leadership has a different policy but that is no guarantee either.

Calderon calling it discrimination is another weak argument. Now,if any other country were to have millions of uninvited foreigners enter their country this would be called an invasion and an act of war.Only in the US when "illegals" are treated like "illegals" it is called discrimination. The Mosque and Gay bar at ground zero isn't much of a surprise given the sad state this country is in.

Don't quote me on this but I remember reading a report that this ground zero community center/mosque was around 5 blocks away from ground zero and it was going in where a burlington coat factory was.

Islam reminds me of christianity during the dark ages. There have been reports and studies not only on what islam teaches kids in the middle east, but also what they are teaching them in these "community centers" in the United States. As you notice as much on the left as on the right activists (especially gays and women) call out Islam as anything but a religion of peace.

But to be fair you can't have your cake and eat it too. Would you allow the CEO of a chain of daycare centers to write memos on how to cover up the sexual abuse of thousands of young boys and get away with it? Unless you think the pope ought to be tried for his crimes you can't cry wolf over what Islam is getting away with.... unless you are a complete hypocrite... or think you are in a holy war (which yes... makes you a radical too).

So if Islam outrages you... be just as outraged to the BS that goes on in all religions.

I like throwawaydad's idea. Except instead of the honeybaked ham store, make it a Philippine Lechon shop:

It is not at ground zero, it is about 2 blocks away - on Park Place between West Broadway & Church Street.  http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/special/nation/view-from-ground-zero-mosque/

Now the Governor's office is now offering to move the planned mosque further away.....but some people still do not want it anywhere in lower Manhattan. That will be another controversy in itself as the original plan having it built on private property but the Governor's Office plan call for it to be built on state own land  w/state fund help.

Now this have entered the race for NY Governor. One candidate (Rick Lazio) is running a new ad blasting opponent Andrew Cuomo & the Mosque. Now several unions (Uniformed Fire Officers Association, Sergeants Benevolent Association) are calling to have the ad pulled. Lazio have 2 ads - one is online but the other (newer one) isn't...yet.

Stay tuned.

It is funny how people who wish to raise the number of immigrants or have already done so are fighting against immigrants.  ::)

As for the mosque, great idea. Perhaps someone can buy some land near the Kaaba and ask permission to build a Church and synagog, as well as in the Gaza sector ? After all the respect that needs to be given should work both ways.
