Pat Robertson blames Haitians for earthquake
« on: January 17, 2010, 04:22:08 PM »
Pat Robinson is at it again:
He said that the Haitians made a deal with the devil -that is why the earthquake happened. And the earthquake was the wrath of the devil.

Stay off the crack? He needs to stick his holier than thou head as deep up his ass crack as far as it'll fit and leave it there. The creep has made millions off of selling religion while attacking people who can't  (or aren't inclined to) benefit his bank account and agenda.

Does this cretin think he has a direct communication line to God and that he can channels Gods actions?

I know I am attacking him while criticizing him for attacking others, but for crying out loud, it doesn't get much lower than attacking people who've lived in poverty and suffered on catastrophe after another. And don't expect any sort of sincere apology--he thinks he's infallible.
Whether you think you can or think you can't--you're right!

Robertson also blamed 911 on the gays. I think he did the same with the wildfires... blamed it on San Fransico or something.

This is exactly the argument against religion or anyone that believes they have a direct line of communication with god. Pat Robertson is just a human being... and he doesn't have any special powers that you don't have. He had a serious mental disorder assuming he isn't aware of the dangerous fraud he commits on society.

"The christian religion is a parody on the worship of the Sun, in which they put a man whom they call Christ, in the place of the Sun, and pay him the same adoration which was originally paid to the Sun." - Thomas Paine, 1803

Based on facts christianity is an egyptian allegorical myth. The story of Mary... egyptian... the story of jesus..... egyptian.... the 10 commandments.... egyptian... the sun disk.... egyptian.... holy communion.... egyptian.... the trinity.... egyptian. The egyptian book of the dead= christian bible.

Horus (where we get the words Horizon... Horus is risen... and hours)
Egypt 3000 BC
Born of a virgin Dec. 25
Star in the east
Adorned by 3 kings
teacher at 12
baptised/ministry at 12
12 disciples
Performed miracles (healing the sick... walking on water)
was known as "lamb of god" "the light"
crucified
dead for 3 days
ressurected

Attis
Greece- 1200 BC
Born of a virgin
born dec 25
crucified
dead for 3 days
ressurected

Krishna
India- 900 BC
Born a virgin
born dec 25
star in the east
preformed miracles
crucified
ressurected

Dionysus
Greece- 200 BC
Born of a virgin
born dec 25
preformed miracles
"king of kings" "alpha and omega"
crucifiend
ressurected

Mithra
Persia- 1200 BC
born of a virigin
born dec 25
12 disciples
dead for 3 days
ressurected
"the truth" "the light"
"Sunday" worship

There are dozens of virgin born crucified saviors.... Indra of Tibet, Jao of Nepal, Adad of Assyria, etc

Why these attributes... why the virgin birth... why december 25th... why dead for 3 days.. why 12 disciples?

Jesus Christ
Born of a virgin
Born on Dec 25th
Star in the east (the star is sirius btw..)
12 disciples
preformed miracles
dead for 3 days
ressurected

The birth sequence is completely astrological

The star in the east is sirius the brighest star in the nights sky. which on december 24th aligns with the 3 brightest stars in orion's belt. These 3 stars are called today what they were called in ancient times... The Three Kings. Sirius and the three kings all point to the place of the sunrise on december 25th. This is why the three kings follow the star of the east in order to locate the sunrise. This is the birth of "God's SUN" at winter solstice.

The virgin mary is the constellation virgo... also known as virgo the virgin... virgo in latin means virgin. Virgo is also refered to as the "house of bread" The representation of virgo is a virgin holding a sheaf of wheat. House of bread and its symbol of wheat represents august and september the time of harvest. In turn bethlehem literally translate to "House of Bread". Bethlehem is thus a reference to the constellation virgo... a place in the sky... not on earth.

From the summer solstice to the winter solstice the days become shorter and colder. From the prespective of the northern hemisphere the sun appears to get smaller and move south. The shortening of the days and expiration of the crops when approaching the winter solstice symbolize the process of death to the ancients. It was the death of the sun. And by december 22nd when the sun's demise was fully realized and the sun had made it to it's lowest point in the sky a curious thing happens... the sun stops moving south... at least preceivably for 3 days. And during this 3 day pause the sun resides in the vicinity of the southern crux (or cross) constellation. And after this time on december 25th the sun moves one degree north foreshadowing longer days, warmth, and spring.

And thus it was said... the sun died on the cross... was dead for three days... only to be ressurected or born again.

However the ressurection of the sun is not celebrated until the spring equinox or easter. This is because at the spring equinox the sun officially overpowers the evil darkness as daytime there after becomes longer in duration than the darkness... and the revitalizing conditions of spring emerge.... thus salvation... crops grow... people have food... thus the worship of the sun.

No go STFU Pat Robertson and all other insane people. Thomas Paine was right in 1803.

As for Pat Roberton's (and many other's) apocalyptic wordview...

I am with you always to the very end of the AGE (Matt 28:20)

Either in this AGE or the AGE to come (Matt 12:32)

The harvest is the end of the AGE (Matt 13:39)

Sign of your coming and the end of the AGE (Matt 24:3)

In this AGE and the AGE to come (Luke 18:30)

On whom the forfillment of the AGES has come (Corinthians 10)

and many more

Of the many astrological astronomical metaphors in the bible one of the most important has to do with the AGES. Throughout the scripture there are many references to "the AGE". In order to be familiar with this you must understand the procession of the equinoxes.

The ancient egyptians along with many other cultures recognized that approximately every 2150 years the sunrise on the morning of the spring equinox would occur on a different sign of the zodiac. This has to do with a slow angular wobble that the earth maintains as it rotates on its axis. It is called a procession because the constellations go backwards rather than forwards through the normal yearly cycle. The amount of time it takes for the procession to go through all 12 signs is roughly 25,765 years.

This is also called the great year. And ancient societies where very aware of this. And they refered to each 2150 year period as an AGE. From 4300 BC to 2150 BC it was the age of Taurus the Bull. From 2150 BC to 1 AD it was the age of Aries the Ram. And from 1 AD to 2150 AD it is the age of pisces. The age we are in today. And in 2150 we will enter the new age... the age of Aquarius.

In the old testament when Moses comes down the mountain with the 10 commandments he was very upset to see his people worshiping a Golden Bull Calf.

Moses- Go in and out from gate to gate and slay every man his brother, every man his companion, and every man his neighbor (Exodus 32)

The golden bull is Taurus the bull. Moses represents the new age of aries the ram. This is why jews even today blow the ram's horn. Moses represents the new age of aries and upon the new age everyone must shed the old age. This is common story throughout the mediterranean.

Jesus is the figure that ushers in the age following aries.... the age of pisces (the two fish). Fish symbolism is very abundant in the new testament. Jesus feeds 5000 people with bread and 2 FISH.

Recognize this? I crack up on every car i see with it.. its PAGAN astrological symbolism!  :D

At Luke 22:10 when Jesus is asked by his disciples where the next passover will be at after he is gone... Jesus replies... behold when ye entered into the city, there shall a man meet you bearing a pitcher of water... follow him into the house where he enterth in

This scripture is by far the most revealing of all the astrological references. The man bearing the pitcher of water is aquarius the water bearer.

Aquarius reprents the age after pisces the fish. And when the sun... God's Sun... leaves the age of pisces (jesus) it will go into the house of aquarius as aquarius follows pisces in the procession of the equinoxes.

ALL JESUS IS SAYING is after the age of pisces will come the age of aquarius.

Now we have all heard about the end times and the end of the world.

The main source of this idea comes from Matthew 28:20 where Jesus says I will be with you even to the end of the WORLD.

However in the King James version of the bible WORLD is a mistranslation amoung many minstraslations.

The ACTUAL word being used is AEON which means AGE.

I will be with you even to the end of the AGE. Which is true... as Jesus' solar pisces personification will end when the sun enters the age of aquarius.

The entire concept of end times and the end of the world is a misinterpeted astrological aligory.

Let's tell that to the approximately 100 million people in America who believe the end of the world is coming.

Time to grow up and get a fact based education!

This isn't exactly related to Pat Robertson but I find it very insulting and very infuriating that there is such an outcry from famous people and the news media to help another country, no matter what the reason, when we still have people in OUR country who is in need of help.  The victims of Katrina still need help, they were even given what was suppose to be "temporary" housing.  I've personally seen the trailors that were given to them because the railroad I work for hauled many of them down there.  I still remember on the news how they were saying there was some chemical in them that was making the people very sick.

We still have, what the politicians, song writers, news media ect... called "heros" from the 911 tragedy that, from what I understand, have bad health problems related to them trying to rescue other victims in the rubble.   I'm sure there are others who need help from that also.

We now have thousands of people thrown out of work, losing their homes, losing their cars, losing their pensions, lost their retirements and investments due to what the corrupt politicians, corrupt C.E.O.'s and corrupt finance people have done to the working class americans.

WE, US, the Americans at home need help.  I don't think it's wrong or immoral or unethical to want to take care of people in your house first before you help out a neighbor.  The sad thing is....after the politicians and news media have milked every last advantage out of this then we will hear no more about it.  I give it about 4 months.

By having the audacity to ask the American people to give to another country...a very violent and corrupt country mind you, I think our corrupt leaders and the news media are spitting in every person's face who still need OUR help from the Katrina tragedy, the 911 tragedy and from what is blatantly a corrupt and immoral act by our government, the Federal Reserve, the banking system and wall street to financially rape the American people.  I'm all for helping others.  I think it's the right thing to do, but if my child is starving or sick...you damn straight I'm going to help my child first before helping my neighbor.  I don't see any difference with trying to help our country first since our government and the powers that be behind the curtain aren't showing any interest in us.   Any and every single person would help their own child first if it was starving, sick or homeless before helping someone else.  There is nothing wrong with that.

I say let the corrupt leaders of that country and all the drug gang leaders help their people....they are the ones who are keeping them down anyway.  We still have much unfinished business with our own poor and homeless by tragedies here.

But you won't here much of this in the media outlets.....someone might get their little feelings hurt.  What a crock of doodie burgers!

I suppose it is possible...maybe the fires were caused by friction when they ran out of butt butter.   ::)

Gay 1: "Where's the fire?"

Gay 2: "It's in my pants."

Gay 1: "Well, now that I'm here, what do you want to do with me?"

Well, considering how piss poor our government's efforts to help people usually are, we will probably just see wasted money for the most part.

I do find it amazing though how politicized this tragedy has become. The current count looks like 100,000 dead and you have comments from both sides making it seem like a big political event rather than a natural disaster. It's sad how stuck we are in this dem v. rep dialog.

Well if you ever change your mind and want back in just send in a donation and you get a free pass through purgatory.  :D .... actually its true... modern day indulgences.

Anyways religious leaders generally don't engage in fact based discussion or debate. The answers will always be illogical.

Skeptical Follower: How do you explain dinosaur fossils being so much older than when god created earth?

Religious Leader: God put dinosaur fossils on earth to test our faith

Skeptical Follower: Why is the bible plagarized from the Book of the Dead and the pyramid walls in Egypt?

Religious Leader: The devil came and told the story first to create doubt for when Jesus finally came along. This was done to test our faith.

Skeptical Follower: God is all powerful and there are countless stories of him healing the sick... even of such deseases as cancer.  Why has god never healed an amputee? Does god hate amputees?

Religious Leader: God must have a special plan for amputees.

I've been there and done that. It's a waste of time. More often than not they won't even have a grasp of fact based history. You'll probably get a Horus who response.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to agree on some of your points here.  I've been catching some of the media covering up for the behavior of the Haitian citizens when they mug the weak for the food rescuers are dropping off.  My feeling is that when food is delivered it has to be done in an orderly way with enough troops to assure that violence is not occurring at food drop off points.  When that becomes the norm, people still stop acting like such asses and beating the old people and children senseless to steal extra rations for themselves.

The scale of this earthquake is massive so I'm good with the US and other countries coming to the rescue of the sick and dying. If deaths and suffering can be prevented, that is a noble thing to accomplish in the immediate aftermath of this event.   What I find to be unacceptable plans to rebuild Haiti on the American taxpayer nickel.  IF this were to occur I would find it an insult. There are too many things that can be done in this country and ultimately the Haitians will be responsible for their own country.  They have proven to be a basket case for some time now, and I'm not entirely clear on why that is the case, but it is not my issue to deal with and I would appreciate it if our elected officials would meet their quota of false 'do gooder' tendencies, in this country.
I had some 45 year old do-gooding beebooper on facebook lecture all her friends that it is our duty to help out the Haitians and acted as if people HAD to help in order to be good people.  I felt like helping her by sending her a virtual knuckle sandwich and letting her know that her duty is to kiss my ass cheeks.

Hey Ray,

;D ;D  ;D Mongo Guisado...life is good! My wife's mother and sister were here the other day cooking all kinds of food. I ate Mongo Guisado and some other Mongo dishes. I am looking for a way to harness all of natural gas I am producing!  ;D

>>Well if you ever change your mind and want back in just send in a donation and you get a free pass through purgatory.   .... actually its true... modern day indulgences.<<

Where's ole Martin Luther when you need him? I thought he called the vatican out on 'indulgences'.

The closer to look at the bible/s, the koran and the torah, the more similar they seem to be--it's man's select interpretation of them that causes so much grief. With a few exceptions, religions are remarkably similar. I am far from an expert, but Hinduism always seemed to be quite different from other 'mainstream' faiths to me....
Whether you think you can or think you can't--you're right!
