Hope you like bugs and hurricanes.

Hey Jeff,

I have pretty much everything I need for hurricanes and I think they know it. Food, Cooking equipment,  generators, water pumps, solar powered devices, tools, chain saws, tarps, medical equipment and supplies, boats, portable A/C units, and most important...plenty ice cold beer and hot showers! Whenever I am here, hurricanes seem to avoid me or downgrade into a tropical storm. When a hurricane approaches our area and I am in the Philippines, my neighbors have talked of flying me back.  ;D

For the bugs I have two electronic bug zappers, some traps, a propane fogger, and a propane mosquito magnet. I will send them to the Philippines when I move.

hi Catz, Ray, Jeef S, Sean and Dave...

yea, things are going very well for me... right now im busy attending few interviews... looking for a new job, getting bored doing the same thing everyday here...

i managed to regain the relationship between my godmother, her family and me... we haven't talk to each other for about 4years and now everything's back to normal... so now, im busy with my new nephews and nieces... its a bit tiring but im enjoying every minute...

about the new boyfriend... hmmm, we haven't talk to each other for almost a month now... he's too busy or maybe pretending to be busy... i dun want to bother him, and hope he's happy with his work. the last time we talked was when he called me saying he's on his way to US for a knee surgery... its not i can't wait for him, but i refuse to wait...

anyway, i want to be alone for a while... spending time with my new nephews and nieces is the best thing right now... they're the new love of my life...  ;)

regards,
Dinda

I agree - wait for the right situation to unfold. Forcing it usually leads to regrets later.

Interesting how the Latinos in Texas can mostly all manage English, but those in Florida or California mostly "no habla." It couldn't have anything to do with expectations - Nah.

"Hey Jeff,

Expectations"...Nah, I doubt it!  ::)  If people protested in English here, nobody would understand what they were protesting about!

I don't think I'd go as far (for Texas) as "mostly all", I'd say "some", I might even stretch that to "quite a few, but with varying degrees of proficiency" but not "mostly all". Now, if you were to qualify that with those who aren't working in low skill, relatively low paying jobs and/or aren't working in retail or service jobs that cater to other Latinos, then I'd go along with "mostly all".  Don't know about California or Florida.

BTW, this is Dinda's thread. Hi, Dinda, glad you're doing well.

hi Ray, Jeff S...

yea, i will wait if i feel that he's being truthful, honest to me and to himself ... but at this moment i just know that all the excuses he gave is a bad sign... i dun want to waste my time and hurt myself waiting for nothing...

better for both of us to go our own separate way... and im happy with what i have now...   ;)

regards,
Dinda
