I agree.  This is a MUCH better forum format.  I'd like to say, though, that MANY other forums already use this type of format.  In fact, PL was one of the few I was aware of that didn't.  This is a HUGE improvement.  Good job indeed.

Now that the dictatorial rule of Hoda has ended, maybe we can finally discuss Colombia, Colombian women and Colombian agencies in a more accurate and more realistic manner.

Hoda

Articulate and mature as always, I see.  Sadly, somethings (and some people) never change.

I like the new forum format.  The only negative to the new forum is that Hoda is still a part of it - albeit in a reduced capacity.

Hey CE, you ever going to actually post anything about Colombia, or just complain that you can't post anything about Colombia because of the "censorship"?

No, because it's a brand-new forum.  The censorship hasn't started yet.

Oh what bull[snip], if you couldn't find just about ANYTHING & EVERYTHING about Colombia from those who those who have may multiple trips over the years & from those who have lived & still live in Colombia....you're just popping bull[snip]! More than likely, you're a disgruntlled, unloved, self-centered troll who got his ass handed to him (or her?) on PL. The fact that you made me the target of your FIRST post clearly shows that your participation here isn't about Colombia, it's about me. Just WTF hasn't been discussed about Colombia, it's women & the agencies before now?

Actually, the world does not revolve around Hoda.  (However, it's not surprising that Hoda thinks that it does.)

Hoda, is it possible for you to make expletive-free posts?  At your age, isn't it finally time to be at least somewhat more articulate and mature?  Clean up your act, Hoda.

Hoda,
You hurt this girl/guys feelings in the past. This is no troll, just someone who kissed the baby and didn't like it!

Hoda has a very simple definition of troll.

TROLL (as defined by Hoda) - Anyone who disagrees with Hoda.

Once upon a time the internet was fresh and there was damn little information on international dating available on-line.  I had started an on-line pen pal (address selling) Latin agency just before my then fiancee arrived.  I decided to also create a list of available on-line agencies after spending days searching the internet for them and started goodwife.com for the list.  Shortly thereafter, I also started planet-love.com and added a crude forum.  At the time, I think there was only one other forum (at least that I knew of).

Eventually, both the other forum and planet-love were found by the general population and attacks we're launched on them.  We're taking hundreds of "f you suck my d&!k" type posts by enough people that it totally disrupted both forums.  I suspect the other forum operator didn't know how to program, because he just shut his system down in 1998 (and never recovered).  I added registration requirements to the code and began a battle against "trolls" that lasted several weeks.  They came up with clever ways around my initial registration system.   I kept adding more troll defense code to thwart them.

Let's face it, "we" are not popular among the general population.  And IMBRA is an example of it!  Over the years there's been quite a few trolls that have come in.  Some are subtle and don't let on that they're pretending to be something they're not.  For some, it's a recreational sport.  We had one guy that seemd totally believable who lasted months from what I remember.  He started out perfectly believable and slowly degenerated over time until going over the edge.

Hoda's been around through all of this.  He's seen the damage these guys can do.  Planet-love had no means of controlling things other than through banning or post deletion.   It's understandable that Hoda (and myself before him) were thought of as dictators (hence my avatar).   This new forum has other ways of dealing with unruly people, as well as trolls.

Why not bury the hatchet and start over CE?  Things can and will be different now.
