Yeah, that was Playa Soledad. We had lunch at Aguacate

We walked a few hundred yards from the beach to this coral formation.. and there was this natural pool in the corals . Other people swam in it, I didnt.

Day 3 we took a  boat trip around Punto Tiboron to Sapzurro, climbed the trail about 120 m vertical to the Frontier with Panama, and descended the other side to Playa Miel in Panama

Views from our hotel room..second floor

The beach is in back.

Total inclusive 3 full meals a day, all the drinks you can drink.
There werent any dancing and toad races like when BuenCamino went there. Just drinking in the night.

Except the last night when they had charades and the like  , and everybody got drink, (especially my GF LOL). We figure these Lesbianos from Medellin stole her Crocks.

First day we arrived about 2:30 in the afternoon, went on the local beach and had  Coco Locos, walked around town.

Second day we went on the  Boat Tour to Playa Aguacate and Soledad..we had lucnch at Soledad. Photos to come later.

Third day we went on the boat tour to Sapzurro, walked up to the Panama Border, got registered, walked down to the beach (Playa Miel) in Panama, then took a boat back to Capurgana.Photos to come.

Fourth day she rested by the pool and I went with a bunch of the other tourists to the nature walk to Parque Cielo. Photos to come

Fourth day in the night heavy drinking, fifth day back on the plane to Medellin and Bus to Manizales and Armenia (heavy puking by my GF..filled quite a few bags..poor girl)

WE also went to the local disco on the pier -hardly anyone was there,I think on the third night.

Cost for fights , hotel, food, booze, (other than at disco), and all boat tours and guide- 4 nights, 5 days 2.75 million Pesos for 2 people. This was during he week, Monday to Friday. A lot more on weekends. They did make us some kind of offer to stay for free until Monday, an extra 3 days, but I think it was because they over booked on the flight back to Medellin LOL.
Living the good life Elexpat. Nice pics!

Photos of the La Miel Beach in Panama. This was probably the nicest beach, but (You cant see it here) dirtier than the Colombian side. But Like I said it would take a couple guys with nets 1 or 2 hours to clean up the garbage that accumulated in the water.

On Day 4 I went on a nature walk (about 3 hours return)  to Parque Al Cielo with the rest of the hotel  Guests. I included a fresh water pool with a monorail you could hang form and fall   in the water at the mid point of the pool

Meanwhile, while I was out on the hike, my Novia relaxed by the pool

And day 5 we flew out. The flight out was much less hairy than the flight in.
The plane took off towards the sea sifde and not the inland side where we landed. Way more relaxed.

The only thing we missed was a trip to the San Blas Islands, because it wasnt included in the package because the Panamanian government added a big Tariff of around !20,000 COP per person recently. But people could easily do the trip in the 5 day period for an extra cost.

Well thats about it for my trip report (in the non-trip report section)

Coming into Medellin on the way back..
