My Novia Beatriz called to tell me she wouldn't be home untill 7.30 PM yesterday.She was supposed to get off work at 1 PM,attend a meeting and be home around 5 PM.She is a surgical Nurse at Imbanaco,an upscale hospital in Cali.She said there was mucho trabajo because of a grande accident.
When she gets home she says it was a bank robbery,3 persons were shot,one died of a bullet in the stomach.
Today I am looking for it in the paper.She shows me the story.Apparently 12 guys decided to steal a piece of construction equipment,a big loader,to try and ram a hole in a building belonging to an armored car company.It didn't work,the cops showed up fast,there was a shoot out.Apparently the 3 persons operated on were the ladrones,the robbers.
Between my poor spanish and her confusing explanations I still might not have it right.
