The "How is your work?" question !!!

No matter how many times I have spoken to uncountable Latinas, I always get "How is your work?"  about 2nd or 3rd question!!


My friends or family never said that to me except for once in a while!

I don't get that so often (or not that soon) from the cupid sites.

Anyway, the way you phrased it is innocent enough: "How is your work?"....you could reply, "Going very well, thank you."

The "What do you do for work?" question is a very common question one will get asked in bars in large metro areas in the U.S.

Sad that your friends and family show less interest in how your work is going than complete strangers. British culture I guess.

The woman is trying to show interest in all of aspects of your life.. including the boring ones ....work. Which we might not have any interest in but we are willing to listen to any office or work rant.. so we can get to good stuff.. ASAP!!!

Probably trying to get feel for how stable of a provider you are and is taking and interest. Doesn't scream gold digger to me just with that question.
