hey everyone!!! tumbled upon this site cause i was searching for the cost of building a house in bohol. im from the philippines originally but im here in australia with my family, like parents and bro and sis. i didnt know about this site at all, and have no idea about the ins and out of this site. i have no stories to share about my love life and everything, my life is pretty much straight forward, my father worked his ass of to send us to school and my cousins, and so yeah. im not much of a social person, but i really want to find someone i can be with, and share experiences with me, or even friends from all over the world that i can talk to. and im better on the net that in person, cause i am very awkward, like really awkward..

thanks tanuki, i searched for a how much it would cost to build a house in bohol philippines since yeah, we live there, my parents has a house there and i want to build a house there as well. but yeah, other than a house, im searching for friends as well.. and someone to talk to to, but im finding it hard to use this website, since it my first time to be on here..

We have a house in nearby Dinagat Is. I believe another member, Dave H, is also looking into building a house in Bohol, so I'm hoping he can give you an idea.
 
What type of house are you thinking, a bahay kubo or a mansion? Do you already own land there to build on?

Bohol it is a beautiful place -  I have been there once & that was for my honeymoon. Except for the "hot" weather when we went to Chocolate Hill, my wife love the place (she is from Pangasinan).

I too am looking to build a house in the Philippines ( a few years down the road) - a place  we can spend 3-4 month out of the year.

Welcome to P-L! Land prices vary, depending on the location in Bohol. Prices near the beach are going up as foreigners buy prime land for investment or  resorts. As to house prices, I'm a nipa hut man myself.    Again, it depends on what you are looking for. You could build a nice cement house PHP 1 million or less. A large mansion might cost you PHP 10 million.
