That's not even a mile from my my wife's neighborhood. It's not a bad area but gringos have no business being in Medellin any time any where. It would be fine with me if they killed any gringo entering the city.

Yep we are all cut from the same clothe..

The guy was obviously a bad actor and made some enemies.

So since you want all gringls killed, guess you wont be going there anymore if you want to live..

Said it before and I will say it again. No gringo has any business being in Medellin ever. With gringos it's like a reverse Midas touch, everything they touch turns to $hit.

I don't plan on ever setting foot in the city again. It's a beautiful place with the most beautiful women on earth but gringos can stay the hell out. It's not their place and they don't belong there.

I been to some dangerous places, in times of war and peace, and as I'm happily married 99.99999% of the time, it probably wouldn't work out well for me to go'vacationing' in Medelin solo or with a wingman.

That said, if I could "have my cake and eat it too," if someone told me the greatest abundance of the most beautiful women in the world were in one exotic location, they'd have to have machine gun nests on every corner and landmines in every sidewalk to keep me away.

I guess the connection between my balls and my brains isn't as tight as it oughta be, LOL.

was watching the game yesterday with some friends and the GF. dont really care much for futbol and i stay out of lleras, but was a social gathering so i like to go. we were next to the charlie hotel in lleras.  taxi pulls up. three very young girls get out. to everyone sitting there, its pretty ovbious they are " prepagos ". they get out, go into the charlie hotel. my friends  makes a  comment " those girls will be walking out in about 1 hour".  i didnt pay much attention to it.  sure as crap, 1 hour later , all three come back out, hair  little different and not as organized lol :o  grab a taxi and leave.  not more than 3 minutes later, three gringos come out. giving high fives and started walking around lleras. i just shock my head.

Looks like a mainly older white male, sedentary, rather homogenized meetup, lacking local, shall we say color?---meetup scenario. I thought I'd see more guys in their 50s with hot chicas in their early 30s, not guys with white, porcine house wives.

Networking never hurts though, as when abroad, we eventually have questions that aren't always easily answered.

Depends..slme people shouldnt leave their parents basement.

In reality Colombia would be extremely grateful for the revenue if they got aa many foreign.paying tourists as say, Spain.

The amount of tourists going to Medellin has increased radiclly in recent years.

Colombia these dates is relatively  tame as a place to travel and live.

Yes and it's unfortunate. I was able to travel with just me and a couple of my kids riding the bus all over Colombia and back in the day, it would have been unthinkable. Maybe if enough paisas rob and kill enough gringos, it will teach them a lesson but I am not optimistic. The place has gone to the dogs.
