I am with Whitey. BAQ is morena heaven!!!!!!!!!! I love it there. I loved Medellin as a city and could definitely see myself living there, but the women did not really do much for me. Not that I was seriously eyeballing anyone though. I was with my wife who is Costena!

It should be fun, fun, FUN!  Worse case scenario is that you have an awesome vacation.  Colombia is an amazing and beautiful place, and you have the opportunity to meet and date many amazing and beautiful women.  Even if you do meet someone special, you should plan on this being the first of at least several trips.  I've been 11 times, had some of the best times of my life, and can't wait to go back. 

By all means learn as much Spanish as you have time for before you go, read up here as much as you can

Again, I agree wholeheartedly with Whitey. Just use all your nervous energy to learn more Spanish, maybe upgrade the wardrobe so you do not stick out like a sore thumb, and pour over the info here on PL to learn more about the culture and how the women are. Because they seem to be very different with many issues when compared to women from the US.

Why of course not!--cripes--I can't even decide if I love dark, milk brown or white chocolate--not a one any more than than any of the  others--not to mention "blonde VS brunette"--Ahh--so many flavors and so LITTLE time!

Any guy who comes onto this board wondering about what is possible in Colombia ought to be using you as an example. Your wife is an absolute doll and better yet, she displays a good character, a lovely personality and is clearly nuts about you.

I love Medellin and its women - I think they are the best in the world. However no one on PL would ever agree with that viewpoint and I must agree, the paisas can be a bunch of money-grubbers. OTOH I like a woman who knows the value of a peso.

Hey UC, you forgot about me, I fell in love with Medellin on my first trip four years ago and am probably the only other person on this board who would agree with you. While I may have gone to the dark side by having a novia who lives in Bogota, Medellin will always have my heart!
