What is the quality of schools in Bogota?  Public and private.  I am asking about the equivalent of grade schools and middle schools.
My little brother got his arm stuck in the microwave. So my mom had to take him to the hospital. My grandma dropped acid this morning, and she freaked out. She hijacked a busload of penguins. So it's sort of a family crisis.

I had heard that the public schools were not very good and was just looking for verification.  I have definitely gotten that verification.  For a better education it is going to need to go the private school route.

i am the colombian inside youre looking for (yay me!!)
ok, if you have a girl i strongly recommend an all girls school like the marymount(biligual and everything)
if its for boy and girs, el colegio los nogales, or el campestre.

you should look for biligual schools, for obvious reasons.
anyway they are some really schools in bogota, somewhat pricey, but very competitive with the american schools, i promise that much.

i hope this was somewhat helpful.
