I have register the Foreign Ladies website a week ago, and already have 111 messages (and still counting) waiting for me to open. 

The cost to open a letter:

$7.50 for 1 letter read or sent  OR $990 for 150 letters read or sent

Do you think it was set-up so that they try to make me pay for the letters, regardless it is a good or bad or long or short letter?

In my opinion, I wouldn't pay for 1 letter especially when receiving 111 in a week.  I did not receive that much when I was with LatinAmericanCupid site.

Average 15 a day with Foreign Ladies - $7.50 per letter  OR
Average 5 a day with LatinAmericanCupid  ('Interests' not include) - about $30 a month unlimited letter

It sounds like a complete waste of money to me!!! I'm being nice!  I wouldn't be surprised if FL pays people (men or women - married or single) to write and answer letters. The more they write and and you read and respond, the more money they and the company make. Why pay  lots of quid for what you can get for free, or at a small fixed rate for unlimited letters?

Foreign ladies is linked with the scumbag agency A Foreign Affair, also known as loveme.com, beautiful brides, etc etc etc. You can see their hokey russian woman advertising on this site. All of the tour information is for their tours.

I note that it is illegal to arrange introductions and run marriage tours and the like to the Philippines but that doesnt stop these guys. I already referenced their ties to pornography through theri interests in K4I in other postings.

If you deal with them, it is going to cost you. You will probably not be successful with them either.

I agree with the guys above me.  I have little doubt this is just a big scam; exchanging letters with anyone, the agency filtering out email and personal information so you can't avoid the fees.  Also, just do the math.  Let's say you actually meet one woman you really like, and exchange letters every other day (which is reasonable), you are talking $1,350 for the year.  Never mind the cost to just weed out enough letters to get to the one.  You can fly just about anywhere in the world for that, and get a few hotel nights as well.  I would skip these guys, in the end you will just end up with less gas money.

Well, if you hold out until you've actually got 150 or them, the price drops to only $6.60 each. Or, I can tell you a good way to save all $990.00.....don't open any of them. Here, you can open this one for free:

It is not unusual to receive many messages when signing up with a service. I got over 150 per day when I started looking. Overwhelming at first. I narrowed it down to a few. It takes work, research, and time to find "the one". I don't like services that charge per message, but if your woman is willing to talk with you with a translator through the service, then it is better than 10 emails of broken English.  My advice is to find a service that works for you and your budget.

About 2 years ago, one of my friends complaint about scammers in Anastasia Web - specialist with Russian ......

so I has to test myself with them, using just my username, password and NEW e-mail.   NO DETAILS about me and NO photos.

Guess what? About 110 unread messages within 7 days.  Of course I did not pay for it.  How can anyone interest in me without any details or photos.  The test proved to be totally scam.

NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER GO FOR $10 A LETTER THING!!!
