The 'gringo season' just began here. On Sunday, I went to a party and at one point around 10 gringos arrived. They looked European. I bet those guys never felt so good in their whole lives! The girls were literally fighting to closer to them.  They would be talking to (or even kissing) a different girl every 10 minutes. I still don't know how they didn't get beat by the local guys on the party...

Boa Noite Cinderella (literally, "Good Night Cinderella") is not a fairy tale.  Two of my friends have gotten it. Apartment in the city's most safe complex It is the name of a strong sleeping potion that can be put into your drink or your food and has been given in candy as well.  It can put you out for as much as 48 hours and, on rare occasion, has done worse than that.  If you are given it, it will provide limitless access to your possessions to strangers. Watch your drink in a bar (when you go to the bathroom, casually take your drink with you and don't be afraid that you will be showing distrust - if they can't take it, there is someone else around the corner) or at home, if you are foolish enough to bring strangers home after reading my relentless finger-wagging tip above.  Don't accept candy from strangers (seriously) and don't flash your money.

Here, it is known by its slang name roofies or ruffies, or by its trade name Rohypnol.  It's official use is as a treatment for insomnia, but is often abused as a date rape drug.  It dissolves easy in liquids.  NEVER leave your drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) alone unless you are at home alone.  Don't even trust your female friends to watch it.  Her BF's male friend may put something in your drink and she won't say anything because she doesn't want to offend her BF who may tell her to keep quiet.
