K1 Visa question: Do I purchase a one way ticket for her?

Has anyone had experience with this?  Since the K1 is classified as a non-immigrant visa, do I need to purchase a roundtrip ticket for my Brazilian fiancee?  Thanks!

No, she only needs a one-way ticket. K-visa holders are intending immigrants.

However, it is sometimes possible to find a round-trip ticket for less than a one-way, so shop around first for both options.

also a good idea to purchase a round trip ticket, just incase it doesnt work out for what ever reason, homesick or other.  and the one way's are usualy the same price as a round trip, go figure!!!!

Thanks guys!  I ended up purchasing a one way ticket from American.  It was a few hundred cheaper than a round trip ticket.  My normal discount ticket broker didn't sell fares originating outside the U.S.
