Site Is Back Up After All

Oiga!:
Hello gents just discovered the site is still up and running and here I thought it was down for the count. Nice surprise. Couldn't sign in as Cali-vet so have a new moniker.

It'd be easy recently  to think this site is dead. Since April, there have been a couple week long periods where nobody cared to post, then another two week period where no one posted.

Perhaps the days of people sharing their  adventures leading up to meeting someone far from home and then how it goes after that, are about done here.

It's kind of odd, because compared to 5-10 years ago, what's left of the membership, is relatively kind to newcomers, as well as to each other.

It used to be much more diversified,  wild and wooly at times here, with the Asian forum seeing the most action overall.

Pretty docile bunch of mostly old timers here now.

90 day fiance is one of the biggest things on now. It's just this forum never positioned itself to move forward in the international dating world.

All the folks watching that show has no idea what a marriage agency even was.

How could this site parlay itself into attracting even some of that audience?

I bet airtime for commercials would be prohibitively expensive.

Those shows, like American Pickers and other so called 'reality shows' made to look spontaneous, typically involve a year or more of planning/production/cost.

Still, reality TV, along with forensic crime shows, is the most popular genre watched today.. R.T.V. is cheapest to produce too.

My point is only that the dynamic has changed and tech has made the world smaller.

Look at all the goofy gringas going overseas. This site hasn't been female friendly. That old good wife lead in page especially.

As I type this I am looking at an ad for elenas models lol.

And human turds like ray were allowed to run this place into the ground. Forums dont work without mods.

Point is there is more international dating and internet comments than ever on this topic. This place just hasn't capitalized on it.

Run an ad on TV lol. Does realgm have to run an ad on NBA TV to have 100k plus posters?

Of course not. This site needed a total reboot 10 years ago. 5 or 6 years ago it needed to be more smart phone friendly.... and anyone name calling fanny fuker, sissy, fag, etc should have been banned.
