First time flying direct to Cebu

Normally like everyone else I have started my trips in the Philippines by flying directly into Manila. I think its gonna be a treat to fly directly into Cebu and bypassing Manila all together. Another good thing I will be spending most of my trip in Lapu Lapu city. Sense that's where the airport and the ocean port for fast boats and water taxis I am hoping that my commutes will be less time and drama.My question is? Does anyone here on the forum have any experiences staying in Lapu Lapu city? Condos short term housing motels. I have stayed in the city motel its descent but not what I'm looking for. I'd like about a 10 day rental somewhere close to the Mall. I will visit Bohol and Carmigeon. I think I butchered the spelling sorry. Anyone any advice thanks...... I will also see more of Cebu actually from one end to the other if weather permits.
