Agreed. The unfortunate case of Dennis Levy is the only one I've ever heard about that didn't involve drugs or hookers. If you go looking for stuff like that in Medallo you're always putting yourself at risk Otherwise its like any other modern in the world. Stay alert, pay attention to your surroundings, stick to safe areas, etc., etc. and you'll be fine.

Is this not true everywhere? I guess it sounded strange as there wasn't a lot context and it seemed more random than anything. Totally looking forward to going though.I'll mostly stay in Medillin but I do plan on hitting up Cartagne and barranquia for a few days for sure. I don't get there untill Set 2 BUT I'll be there for a few months if / when you return
