Was wondering if P-L has been a bit on and off line for you?

A few times recently I tried to look in from my PC and phone and have gotten different messages indicating it's down.

It was down for me all day, just now able to get on.

It's programmed to do that any time your posts exceed 1,000,000 words.
 
Solution: cut your posts down to a reasonable length...

I'm not sure why PL's IT is worse than the contractors working on the healthcare site, but I can confirm this site is out of commission very often. The heyday for sites like this has passed. That is not good traffic.

No easy answer there. Head on over to goodwife.com. One of the first things you read is Asian BRIDES, Latin BRIDES, etc. Read the "Good Wife Guide". Plus you have terms like international marriage broker. We have countless trip examples of men going on vacations and coming back "engaged" from a mail order bride "marriage broker". 

The politics certainly aren't diverse here. The shrinking revenues this website still brings in is attached directly to the image that is killing them. So I don't know what to tell you. One of this site's biggest competitors has monthly traffic of 500,000. So in theory this site could turn it around, but I doubt it.

The fact is men are going overseas and meeting women in great numbers, but they aren't coming to PL.
