In just about two and a half weeks the Colombian public will vote si or no the contents of the peace deal the government and FARC have been working on for four years. Last poll showed 72% pro and 22% against in the campo, somewhat surprising since rurul Colombians have been hardest hit by the war. In the cities the poll showed 68% for and 37% against. The city vote of course is much more heavily weighted. If the public votes no however it doesn't mean the government will through in the towel and launch the Super Tucanos. It just means the whole process will have to start all over again. It is necesarily long, outling the three hundred page agreement but SEMANA has presented an un biased and readable synopsis here
