4 days trip to Barcelona
« on: April 28, 2016, 08:46:31 AM »
Nothing to do with looking for Latin American ladies again, but I can say that Catalan people are very friendly - much friendlier than any other places I've ever been.

Travelled last Sunday to meet up 3 of my deaf friends who were already there since Thursday.  Watched Barcelona v. Valencia where Barcelona lost 2-1, but we witnessed Lionel Messi scoring 500th career goals  (450th for Barcelona and already 50 for Argentina).  Perfect timing as Messi is my longtime favourite player, despite that he hasn't scored the previous 4 matches (record!)

Monday, my 3 deaf friends flew home, while I stayed till Thursday... visiting many interesting architecture including La Sagrada Familia.

Tuesday - visited GRISART Photography school, and talked about it, and as well as visiting Guell Park....

Wednesday - watched Barcelona Open tennis match where Nadal (my favourite tennis player) won the 2nd round match.  He went on to won his 9th Barcelona Open titles.

Conclusion:  I will visit Barcelona again, and possibly live there to studying photography course where they taught in English (as well as Spanish).

Pretty cool.  I think Barcelona would be the number one city on my list I'd like to visit and maybe live there.  Paris or southern France would be next on my list.  I only travel to Latin America because it's more economical for me, since I like to stay for months at a time, but I think I'd rather be in Europe.

It looks like there is a good chance we may have an all Madrid Champions' League final.  I hope Real Madrid lose because they haven't been giving my boy James Rodriguez any playing time.

Wow..great pictures..I always loved the apartment building shaped like a dragon...good picture of it.

Yeah Barcelona is a neat city..was there in 2002 I think Took a week of Spanish there. Plus I went climbing in the cliffs at Monserrate..not so great..especially after the Dolomites and French Alps.

Whoa what a game!  One Madrid team through to the finals.  If Real Madrid don't play James Rodriguez tomorrow I hope Man City beats them.
