Today the voters in Miami-Dade County are going to the poll to elect a new mayor.

Eleven candidates are vying to replace ousted Mayor Carlos Alvarez.  The field includes rapper-turned-politician former 2 Live Crew rapper Luther "Luke" Campbell.

For many the question is not if Luther Campbell (who have a history of professional misogyny) wins but if a non-Cuban can win.
